Car-X Tire and Auto
Only place I'll ever take my car!I've been so impressed in my dealings with this Car-X location. My dad has gone here for years, and they're the only place my husband and I completely trust. As many other reviewers have pointed out, these guys don't try to convince you something is wrong with your car when it isn't.I had my car in for an oil change the other day so I asked them about a problem it had been having lately. They were very willing to look into it even though it was almost the end of the day. Then Tommy came out, told me what the problem could be, and gave me a very simple suggestion (and one that didn't cost me a cent). Definitely not your stereotypical car place! We're glad to have a local mechanic we can trust our cars to!

Lockhart Cadillac
My wife and I each purchased a new Cadillac CTS within the past two weeks and we are exceptionally pleased with both the superior quality of these automobiles as well as with the superb service and "buying experience" we received from our sales & leasing consultant, Mr. David Dukeman. Mr. Dukeman and the entire support team at Lockhart Cadillac understand what it means to provide complete customer satisfaction. We have purchased and/or leased more than 25 new Cadillacs within the past 40 years and our total experience at Lockhart Cadillac with our two recent purchases have been the best of all of our 25 total purchases.

These guys are great - love it when a mechanic is really honest with you about whether or not an issue REALLY needs to be fixed. These guys do such great work that they don't need to talk people into spending money unnecessarily. The sign of a good mechanic is that you don't have to see them very often. I had a really old VW bug with a lot of issues before I started going to them, and anytime I brought them my car, they had it fixed - for good. They also fixed my car right on the spot when I had it towed in unexpectedly. Best service possible, and great guys.
Tips & Advices
You should change your oil filter whenever you change your oil, that is, approximately every 7,500 miles.
A oil filter is a device that helps remove contaminants from motor oil as it passes through the engine. A pump pushed the oil through the filter where it is strained and goes back to the engine.
High-mileage oil contains special conditioners that are said to help prevent gaskets from drying out and thus preventing leaks. This can be beneficial to engines with many miles on them.
Synthetic oil costs more than conventional oil, but the price is offset by the need for less frequent oil changes due to the oil’s durability.
Tools needed to change your own oil include jack stands or ramps, a wrench, an oil filter wrench, an oil drip pan, funnel, replacement oil filter, and replacement oil.
