Fayetteville Ladies, this is the place for you! I am a reporter at a local newspaper and I so much enjoyed every bit of my experience at this place that I offered to advertise them for free. Those braiders, no one else in Fayetteville and surroundings equals them in braiding skills, cleanliness of braiding area, speed in braiding, customer service and professionalism. First of all, when I came, the place was packed. This alone impressed me for in my profession I know that the month of September, especially toward the end of the month, is one of the slowest in business. I was received with a warm welcome and my stylist took such good care of me. I described myself as one picky customer in general, but the patience of my stylist and how she showed me the love of God even when she was pricing my style comforted me to the point that I made a friend of her. I saw how all the other customers where all joyful and pleased with the service. I was amazed to see all the different styles that theses women could do. Braiding is truly an african heritage. I talked to many of them and found that most of them had more than 10 years of experience. They where so humble! They make sure that you are comfortable and well cared for. My micros where the best I ever had. but the most important for me was the unprecedented customer service that I had the opportunity to see and experience today. I can come and boldly tell you all that you are safe in the place. You children will be delighted. As for me, I am a lifetime customer at nanashairbraiding. No wonder why they have another shop in Boston, Ma and are getting ready to open another one in Fayetteville. God had truly blessed them.

I have thought about a review for this business for a whole week. I wanted to be fair but honest... So here goes. Sally brought me into the 21st century. She did an EXCELLENT job! This was my first color (I am 30yrs old), and I am extremely worried about my hair being ruined because I am bi-racial. She treated my hair so that it would not be damaged, and the color is phenomenal. My hair is thick and somewhat coarse so she spent 4 hours on it. However, I paid for those hours. This is my only real complaint. She said next time I would only be there for 2 hours and so pay half the price...which I think is pretty reasonable, yet when I told EVERYONE...co-workers, friends, strangers, how much the cost was...their mouths dropped open. Even when I tried to reason how awesome she did, how great my hair felt, how healthy it was, how happy I am with the style..most pretty much said I was taken..and paid wayyy to much. I wanted the best and I am pretty sure I paid for the best. Soooo...in summary here it is...she is excellent but you will pay for the service. She owns her own shop so she is VERY personal and cares for her clients but you have to pay more for quality...she too has to make a living. I do not know if I will go back. She says it will costs half as much, and I think that is comparable to others however, it hurts to feel I overpaid especially the amount I paid. Yet I did get what I paid for..excellence. So ask how much it will be, if you can handle the price..you will love the outcome..if not..go elsewhere..
I have been getting my hair cut at Tangles for almost three years. Every single experience has been a great one. The staff are always so friendly. In the past three years I have seen three separate stylists... par for the course in a military town, but my current stylist is the best. Jackie is extremely friendly, does a fantastic job, and always gives her honest opinion on how somewthing will work with my type of hair. I'm thankful to have found Jackie and that she has helped me to break the monotony of the same hairstyle I "rocked" for almost seven years. I have never loved my hair so much and received so many compliments on it!I have been getting my hair cut at Tangles for almost three years. Every single experience has been a great one. 06/09/2014Utopian Allure Hair Gallery
Utopian Allure Hair Gallery has always been advertised as a home based natural hair care, braids and extensions alternative for woman with textured hair in the Fayetteville area. Furthermore, natural hair care specialists DO NOT EVER cut natural hair, relax or dye natural hair because it is unlawful to do so. Who ever you are Sharon L. you need to stop it, because you are being untruthful. Miss Niecey refuses service to individuals wanting cut, color, or perms so you know you need to quit. Get a life and stop broadcasting lies about the only place in Fayetteville where woman can be comfortable and have privacy to receive one on one personalized hair care. I think it is amazing that I can get Senegalese twists for $180, Micros for $140, Kinky Twists for $120 or a Full Head Sew In weave with a precision cut and style included for $100 flat. Key words here are braids and weaves...duh because she can't and never has cut anyone's natural hair. Niecey your the best and Sharon shame on you.

I normally don't write reviews but felt the need to do so for my experience. I was a walk in, was seen right away, the ladies were professional as well as the owner. I was even asked if I was military for a discount, most places around Fayetteville you have to ASK for military discounts!! As for the negative comment here about them being loud and rude..its the way they speak, their nationality, you should know that if you have been to any other African braiding shops. I had no problem with them speaking in their language. Do you complain when other bilinguals speak their own tongue when you go other places?! Anyhow I got Senegalese twist they were small, neat and done VERY professional I love them! Most importantly I left without my head throbbing!!! There were two ladies working on my head and I was in and out in less than the 5 hours she quoted me!! Overall I had a great experience and will be back! Money well spent for me! The best in Fayetteville!
03/25/2013Metro Chic Salon & Boutique
The prices at Metro Chic are absolutely in line with all salons in the area. I have gone to this salon for over a year and never paid more than the going rate for anything (but I don't have 4 hours worth of hair, for which I would expect to pay a stylist for 4 hours worth of her time. Don't you get paid by the hour? ) Sally is a skilled stylist who can look at you as a whole person, not just your hair, and know what will make you look good. Not just anyone can do that. She is sincere, she makes you look great, and she takes great care of your hair. In the end, If you feel great about how you look It seems like you absolutely get what you pay for! What more could you want. (from your stylist I mean ;)
