Donna Pyle Counseling & Consulting
Mrs. Pyles was instrumental in November 2006 of giving me hope, and belief in myself and my abilities to stand tall and move forward positively...I saw her twice a week for three years; ...when the economy went "bust" I had to stop my counseling with her...and since then my life has gone to hell in a hand basket...skin Cancer has devoured my face, caused almost all of my dental work and teeth to fall out...I've been on medication for severe depression and anxiety for ten (10) years and Bradford Bowles at the Josiah Center on Raeford Road, after my last appt. in late October 2016, did not even speak to me and told me to pay for my visit and he would write out the prescriptions for my medications--I paid the $80.00 bill and asked if he wanted me to take the prescriptions to CVS, and he said "No", when I get them all written I will send them ALL at one time...so I took him at his word and left...needless to say, I later discovered HE LIED--CHARGED ME FOR MEDICATIONS THAT HE DID NOT WRITE PRESCRIPTIONS FOR--THE PRISTIQ, FOR DEPRESSION, THAT HE HAD BEEN PRESCRIBING FOR ME FOR 10(TEN) YEARS WAS JUST GONE--COLD TURKEY--HE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO SAY ANYTHING TO ME....I SPEND MY DAYS IN BED-I CRY ALOT...TOME HE IS A COWARD, DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE CALLED "DR.", AND IS FILLED WITH DISCRIMINATION -AND IF YOU ATTEMPT TO SPEAK TO HIM--HE CUTS YOU OFF AND SAYS I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT...THE ONLY THING PROFESSIONAL ABOUT HIM IS HE'S A PROFESSIONAL LIAR AND MONEY GRUBBER....IF YOU HAVE A MEDICAL ISSUE, PLEASE DON'T PUT YOUR HEALTH OR FAITH IN HIS CONCERN FOR YOU....HIS ONLY CONCERN IS TO GET YOUR $$$$$$....MRS.DONNA PYLES, I LOVE YOU FOR YOU CONCERN AND HELP...THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO FOR HUMANITY AND MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU, YOUR WORK, AND YOUR FAMILY ❤SOMEONE GOD BLESSED TO HAVE YOU CROSS MY PATH, AND BRING TO ME MANY POSITIVE MEMORIES OF BY GONE DAYS.....AGAIN THANK YOU❤ Joseph Dwight Cashwell Jr 1/10/2017

Tips & Advices
A child psychiatrist is a medical doctor who specializes in issues that affect the mental and emotional health of children and teens. Child psychiatrists can provide treatment for children and teenagers who suffer from depression, autism, anxiety disorders, attention disorders, drug addictions, eating disorders, mood disorders, and a wide range of behavioral problems.
Psychiatrists typically ask questions that focus  on the issues that are having a negative effect on your life. In an initial visit with a psychiatrist, you may be asked about symptoms you've experienced, and ways in which you've tried to deal with them. You might be asked about current and past medical conditions, as well asa family health history.
A referral is an authorization from your doctor saying that a certain type of treatment is medically necessary, and it's usually required if you want your insurance company to cover the costs associated with a visit to a psychiatrist. If you don't have insurance, a referral is not required to schedule a psychiatrist visit.
Psychiatrists and psychologists sometimes collaborate, and this typically takes place when working with patients who have serious mental health problems. In cases like this, a psychologist will treat the patient from a behavioral perspective. A psychiatrist will complement this treatment with care that handles issues concerning biology, neurology, and the prescription of drugs.
Many psychiatrists specialize in treating certain conditions. Some psychiatrists focus on substance abuse therapy, and this is the treatment of addiction to substances like alcohol, narcotics, and tobacco. Others specialize in biological psychiatry, which is the treatment of brain chemistry disorders like depression and schizophrenia. Psychiatrists might also specialize in treating elderly patients or children and adolescents.
