I love the dentist but I wonder do she know how her administration desk treat people. The front desk is very rude and disrespectful. I've seen it happen to others at EVERY VISIT then it happens to me. Do better front desk.

Horrible customer CareThis was a 1st & last visit for my child in Fayetteville, NC. I walked in the office on time@4pm for my appointment. I noticed the ladies behind the partition reading magazines (very unprofessional) & others on the phone Finally, one of them hung up & advised me that I should've been there 30 mins. earlier for paperwork. She advised me that it was my 1st visit & they were leaving at 5pm, so id have to reschedule. I told her that i was actually ON TIME. I explained to her that I left my job, my child had EOG testing in school, that was why i arrived at my 'appointed' time. She said they still wouldnt see my child. She didnt offer to start the paperwork for perhaps another date. She said I'd have to reschedule...thats it!!!I called back to speak to a manager & was advised Mr Dudley/the mngr wasnt in, they didnt know when he'd be in. The lady I spoke to even went on to say that she didnt know if he'd even call me back because he was busy running 3 offices. I left & never heard from anyone there! No one deserves this type of treatment & this is not the way you treat your 'FAMILY'.HOMETOWN FAMILY DENTAL.

I decided to give this dentist a call for a consultation for braces, after going in on the initial appointment, I was very pleased with the comfortable atmosphere very clean. I received professionalism from all the staff after speaking with Dr. O and going over my issues he was very understanding and concern about fixing my smile, I'm really pleased with the overall staff, my cleaning was done by a great efficient hygienist she was super. I will continue to receive service here forever and I will recommend family and friends. Thank you!

You guys have the best team of Ladies in NC! Very professional and comforting! They are very nice and attentive. The facilities are always in a pristine state. Great personalities and it doesn't hurt that they are nice to look at as well!

My Orthodontist referred me to this clinic to see about getting a gum graft done on 2 of my anterior teeth. I arrived at my appointment and was charged $105.00 right away and was told that it would go towards my treatment cost. After about 30 minutes of waiting the Periodontist entered the room and simply told me that there is nothing that could be done for me. She also showed me that she had the same gum issues as me. Approximately 5 minutes later she said she would refer me elsewhere. I left the clinic and realized that I paid $105.00 just to be told I could not receive treatment. I called the office and said "I would like to speak to someone about a refund", immediately the receptionist put me on hold where I was left for 15+ minutes. (No apology for being on hold for so long). I believe it was an attempt to get me out of their hair or get me to hang up and forget the issue.................(see attached)
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
