Williams Motorsports
I will never go to another motorcycle shop other than Williams Motorsports. For people thinking about giving them a try for the first time:- I was once in your position and thought well this place is 10 minutes out of the way they seem really nice over the phone but idk if they will do as good of work as a dealer thats been around for decades. FALSE!!! these guys are awsome at what they do you should definatly go to them! I own a CBR1000rr and a CBR600 and they have done everything from oil changes to brakes, fork seals, body work and put on an aftermarket pipe for my 1000!Pros of going to Williams motorsports:1) They dont run thier shop like its a money making corporation, They truely run in like they love what they do and money is NOT a priority.2) The guys who work there (as of now) have been motorcycle mechanics for many years.3) They only charge $60/Hour for labor where everywhere else is $80. 4) They garuntee thier work. I had my fork seals replaced on my CBR's and they were leaking just a couple months after they were fixed and Daniel (the head guy) asked no questions and ordered me new fork seals and is fixing them for FREE! Cons:1) Location being out in country 10 minutes (but still worth the drive). Sorry for the Long review but this place sparked me to write such a good oneIf you havnt been happy with they way another motorcyle dealer is treating you switch to Williams motorsports if you live in North West Arkansas you wont regret it!

Richard Mayes Auto Service
I love this place! Even though I don't own a car, only a moped, I'd recommend this place to anyone. Last December, I had just gotten my moped back from a repair shop in town that specializes in scooters and was supremely disappointed. My back tire went flat a week after getting it replaced (because of them aligning it improperly with the wheel), and I needed someone to air it up again. Not having a way of getting it anywhere else, I walked it down to Richard Mayes to ask if there was anything they could do, even though they don't work with mopeds. They told me that they would do what they could and call me if they couldn't fix it. I walked by the place first thing the next morning, and it was siting outside already, the tire aired up and perfect. I went inside to collect my keys and pay, but they said to consider it a Christmas present and just handed me my keys. The service was beyond friendly, helpful, and exceptional. They could have easily turned me away or charged me a lot of money for the specialty service, but instead, they helped me and my wallet out so much. I tell all of my friends about Richard Mayes Auto Service.

Richard Mayes Auto Service
Richard Mayes Auto Service is by far the best service place I have ever been to.My car's engine was destroyed due to oil leaking. It died the moment I turned into their parking lot and it was beyond rep[air. Richard Mayes and a tech crawled under the car once the tow-truck got there and lifted the car and they noticed that the cup was loose. The people that I had taken it for an oil change did not tighten it well enough after the change. Richard Mayes called himself the owner of the other service business to let him know what they had found and that they had three witnesses to testify that the cup was loose. The manager agreed to take a look at my car and then to replace the engine free of cost. They did not charge me anything for their inspection and they were beyond helpful and caring about the problem. In no other place had I ever had such an amazing treatment. From now on I am not taking my car to any other service business, no matter the cost.

Autohouse Automotive
While on my way to a service call in Little Rock my van started dying. I quickly exited the highway, and Googled auto repair shops nearby. I found AutoHouse with a 5 star rating only 3 miles away. I was able to limp my van to the shop, and even though it was New Years Eve and they seemed very busy, Joe said he could help me out. 'I've never seen a shop like his. It is very clean. It has amenities like a kids playroom, a big TV, q pool table. Complementary coffee made by the cup. The service was fantastic, and and very reasonable for all the work Joe and his team performed. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again. I will even try to have my Fort Smith technician take his vehicle there for service when possible. Great experience.

I was in need of getting some dents fixed on my vehicle and needed to find a prompt, trustworthy, and professional paintless dent repair person. I came across Dent Master and gave Richard a call, the process was simple, smooth, and hassle free. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations and each morning I walk to my now dent free vehicle with satisfaction. Highly recommend Dent Master for any of your dent needs.

Lafayette Garage, LLC
I am new to the Fayetteville area. I was referred to this garage. I went because to have my transmission looked at. I was told nothing was wrong with my transmission but they did "find" 3 things that were wrong. One fixed a problem. Last Tuesday my car died due to the drive in my transmission going out! I will never take another car there. I've since heard other bad reports about this garage.

I'm certainly not family. I do, however, have an older car that's had a few issues over the past couple of years. Mike has always treated me fairly and been prompt on addressing any issues that I might have.I recommend him to people regularly, and until I have a reason not to, I will continue to do so.

Totally honest, they will tell you what you do and do not need. I have been going to them since they opened and I recommend them to everyone, especially all my female friends. They have never done anything to my car it didn't need and try to help me save cash by telling me to wait on certain things.

Stevens Auto Repair - Mechanic
Helped me and my wife out in a jam on a Sunday when all the other shops were closed. Met us where we were broke down and got us back on the road back to Texas in an hour. They really saved us at a really fair price. Very knowledgeable and honest couple. I totally trust them and highly recommend.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
