Stephen Cashman MD
I was a Physician Assistant student who rotated with many doctors and was very impressed by Dr. Cashman. He always does a very thorough examination and presents the options that are available to the patient. He never decides something for a patient but is very good at discussing options with them and allowing them to make informed decisions on their care. He is always reading articles put out by his academy and strives to stay current with the most up to date information, making him an excellent teacher. However, I was most impressed with how down to earth and caring he is with his patients. He is mindful of costs of medicines and procedures and I respect how he handles his practice as both a business but way of helping others. After he asked me to work for him upon graduation I was confident that this would be a good fit for me and my family.

Bradford Hal
Dr.Bradford himself is a great doctor, til he brings up your personal past and asks if you are addicted to pain pills because his nurse Shana thinks you are, because she doesn't care and her face and the way she looks at you says it all nor does she pay attention. I have severe pain down there in my lady parts,so i had surgery and guess what??? I'm still having pain and its terrible. So when i went to see them yesterday it got turned around on me some how an a lot of my personal traumatizing things got brought up that was none of there business nor the reason i am having pain. I'm just saying if you want a nice staff and a doctor who doesn't try to give you pills or surgery for pain than don't go here.

North Hills Surgery Center
I waited 2 hours for my turn with pain management Doctor. Cubicles had worn out chairs to sit in. I waited by a man, wife & 2 yr old child. Yes, the child was allowed back to area. He was exhausted, Dad on some meds & Mom ill equipped to manage child. It made a stressful situation even more stressful. The staff was friendly and professional at getting you out the door quickly afterward with no pain meds referring me to my doctors office and providing me with wrong number. Not a happy patient in pain...

Mission Family Practice
I love Dr Bonner and was happy to see he left MANA, but I have been waiting over an hour with an appointment while two people off the street without an appointment walk in and are taking back. Something needs to change or my entire family will have to find a new doctor.

Hedberg, Curtis L, MD
Dr. Hedberg diagnosed my allergies and gave me shots. I am off the shots for a year now. Under another allergist, I had never been able to get off my shots. He has helped me with my sinuses and bronchitis very successfully.

Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
