St Francois County Glass
I am very disappointed in their Customer Service. I ordered a round glass tabletop and even made them a template. They just kept putting me off when I would call to check on progress. Finally 3 years later they tell me it is too difficult. They should have told me that in the beginning rather than stringing me along. Poor Customer Service and communication.

Knox Auto Glass
Had a windshield replaced. Mr. Knox used the old molding when fitting the new windshield. It was broken, bubbly and missing sections. It looked so tacky and shoddy. We asked him to replace the molding. He refused and said "hey I saved you 30$ using the old molding". We argued and pleaded with him to stand by his work and do something to make it right. He flatly refused and said too bad. And if we wanted to pay to have a whole new windshield installed he would then make it right for double the cost. Steer clear of this place...unprofessional and. Shoddy workmanship -grade=F

This vendor doesn't do windshield repair. This is very inconvenient for those who do not want to replace their entire windshield for several hundred dollars.

St Francois County Glass
This guy was doing a window for my girlfriend and her ex was supposed to pay for it so he called first. When she called to set up appointment he proceeded to tell her what a nice guy her ex was and how great he was after a 15 minute hold on the phone. Then he called thirty minutes after scheduled appt to make sure someone was going to be there. Business is business leave your personal feelings out of it and make your scheduled appointments.
Tips & Advices
Many companies, both local and nationwide, specialize in automotive glass repair and replacements. Drivers should contact their insurance companies to find glass or auto repair shops in their network.
Windshield damage from anything other than a vehicle collision (including vandalism, storms, fires, and animals) is often covered by optional comprehensive coverage. Drivers should keep in mind that some plans only cover the side and back windows but not the front windshield. Without coverage, drivers must pay the entire cost of repairs or replacements.
Small windshield repairs can be finished in 30 minutes, while windshield replacements take about an hour.
The adhesives used in windshields need at least one hour to cure, so drivers must wait before getting back on the road.  Similarly, drivers should wait at least 24 hours after a windshield repair or replacement before washing their cars. The water and chemicals in the soap can weaken the adhesive. Because of the additional pressure involved, drivers should wait three days after repairs or replacements before going through an automated car wash.
Replacing a windshield costs between $150 and $300 on average.
