DryTek Water & Mold Restoration 24/7
My basement flooded back in February. It was midnight & I did not know what to do, I surfed the web for a water damage company and ran across these guys. Thank god I did, they quickly came out within 1 hour of our conversation and immediately started moving my furniture so that they could minimize the damages and started to suck up the 2 inches or so of water throughout our basement. Before leaving they set up a couple of dehumidifiers and told me that they would be back in the morning to start tearing out some of the areas that were un-savable. They did a great job and they even took the headache away from us by dealing with all of the insurance people. They are Highly recommended & their magnet is on my fridge incase something happens again! This company was a life saver! A sump pump failure in the lower level of our home left a mess beyond words. Muddy water was on the walls and light carpet. And it happened on the Friday night of the Labor Day Weekend! Kyle from ServPro came with Clark and they extracted the water in rapid time. They were professional, courteous and prompt. Kyle explained his recommendation on how to dry out the drywall to a tee. We have had 2 other sump issues over the years but this company has done a superb job of cleaning up the mess in a quick, expert way. Carpets are now completely clean and from the final cleaning today! Thank you ServPro!

We had a fire in our kitchen 2 months ago. After the fire department showed up, we called these guys in to secure the property and ended up using them for our renovations. They specialize in fire & smoke cleaning so most of our home was salvaged by cleaning then they gave it a new paint job. They demolished our kitchen and it came out beautiful. They were there every step of the way. Good people. Direct insurance billing. Even worked with us on our deductible.Marcus Hughes

Tips & Advices
Signs of hidden water damage include:
  • Standing or pooling water
  • Foul odor
  • Texture changes
  • Discoloration
  • Clearwater is clean water with no solids. It includes water generated by air conditioning units and water that goes down the drain while the faucet heats.
  • Greywater refers to all other form of waste water except for toilet water. It possibly contains hair, soap particles, cooking byproducts and flakes of skin. Areas that have been damaged by grey water are at a mild risk of contamination.
  • Blackwater is water that has come into contact with urine or fecal matter. Toilet water is considered blackwater. Blackwater can contain pathogens and is usually considered a biohazard.
Water damage restoration is a process where water-damaged areas are dried, sanitized, and rebuilt.
Home insurance sometimes covers water damage from storm-related accidents. However, most plans do not cover damage resulting from lack of maintenance or floods. For the latter, homeowners should purchase flood insurance.
Regular maintenance will reduce the risk of water damage.
  • Clean and maintain gutters so rainwater flows properly. Direct downspouts away from the house.
  • Repair any roof damage.
  • Use drain snakes to clean clogs. Chemical cleaners erode pipes.
  • Do not place outdoor plants with invasive roots near pipes, septic tanks, sprinkler systems, or drainage fields.
  • Make note of the water bill. A sudden, random spike in charges could indicate a leak.
