They charge you $5.95 to change your pasta from spaghetti to Angel hair. The manager even argued about it. Completely unprofessional, what an embarrassment for their restaurant. Never again will I go back after experiencing that!
This place is the real deal, they hand make it all. If your lookin for great food, good wine, and excellent service give this place a shot.
The food is very good, but the service is terrible. It took about 10 minutes before someone came to our table. When they brought the food to the table, the didn't offer any shredded parmesan cheese for the pasta (as almost every good Italian restaurant usually does). Both of our water glasses were empty and never refilled. I had to stop another waiter and ask him to find our waiter to refill the water. Another 5 minutes had past and I needed something to drink as I will still eating, so I just walked over to another table that had a left over pitcher of water from the previous party of 5 that had just left. The waitress didn't come back to our table once to see if the food was okay and to ask if we needed anything. When she finally brought the bill, she asked if we were done and began to take the remaining food off the table without asking us if we wanted a box. When we requested boxes, she brought them and surprisingly boxed the food for us (I was surprised given the lousy service up to that point). I was going to tip her nothing but ended up giving 10% since she did take our order, bring the food, and box the leftovers.
The food was actually very good, but the experience was ruined by the terrible service. I would not return to this restaurant solely due to service. I called the manager later that day to complain, and he sincerely apologized and said they never get complaints about the food or the service, but he didn't offer to do anything beyond that.
I would recommend take out if you go here. Enjoy the excellent food and save yourself the tip money.
ALL THE FOOD HERE IS AWESOME! EVERYTHING IS HOMEMADE AND DELICIOUS. TRY THE RITA SAUCE WITH YOUR PASTA. IT'S AWESOME! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ITALIAN RESTAURANT OVER OLIVE GARDEN ANY DAY! BON APPETITE!
This place is located in a strip mall and easily overlooked. The food and service is awesome. The prices are really reasonable. I recommend it to all.
I have been in the service industry for years as a bartender and a server. I had some of the worst service ever at this restuarant, along with some of the worst food. I sat at the bar and the bartender was rude and ignorant. I ordered the chicken parmesan, which was so rubbery I couldn't eat more than two bites. Even if the chicken hadn't been microwaved, it tasted like cardboard. I didn't want to take anything home with me and the bartender didn't even notice that I was dissatisfied with what they called a meal. I've never been so disappointed in a restaurant, especially an Italian one. Definately don't waste any time or money at this establishment.
This is the best place for homemade foods. Melt in your mouth fresh bread with every meal. Even the kids menu spoils the younger crowd. Not a box premade restaurant like Olive Garden. Here Everything is freshly made. I can taste the olive oil even on the pizza. excellent service. Our server's name was Susan....very friendly and welcoming...knew the best way to treat customers. Family friendly and fine dining plus a small intimate bar for those wanting a break. Great choice to dress up or down. Try it and you will taste and see the way a restaurant should be. PS very good prices for the budget.
We traveled down from the shores of Lake Superior in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, to share in our daughter's college graduation. With a group of 6 in tow, we came to this ""family operated"" resturant. Apparently so did many other families have the same idea. We were treated with great kindness, and they made sure we were able to enjoy this wonderful, authentic Italian cuisine, with a very short wait. Most places would have turned us away, but they got creative, and recognized this was a special day in all of our lives. The food is EXCELLENT and the price is very reasonable. With a warm friendly atmosphere and good waiters & staff, besides the EXCELLENT chefs, we try to make this a must stop when visiting down state.
