Gentle Groomers Pet Salon
Terribly disappointed, first time customer, slightly more expensive than my usual groomer but was closer to home so I thought I would give them a try. Brought my Teddy Bear there, when I picked her up, she had pieces of stuff in her hair and tail, did not smell as though they had bathed her at all. When I asked if she was bathed as this was suppose to be include I was told she had and the chunks in her fur on her back and in her tail was dry skin. Groomer took her back an brushed it out but I really don't believe she had s bath as the dead skin" looks just like the burs of a plant in our yard she is always rolling around in and if it was truly dead skin should not have been in her tail. Additionally this has never happened before in all the years we had her groomed so unless she developed this skin issue today seems a little suspicious. Will drive the extra distance to receive a full grooming for a lesser price in the future.

In Bloom
Daughter went in to Kylee with a picture (balayage) which was similar to the color she had. After 9 hours, yes 9 hours in the chair which still needed to be fixed the next day with another 2 plus hours in the chair my Daughters hair was closer to the picture before she went to this stylist than after. He hair was blonde with spots and streaks even after the so called fix. Throughout this process she called several stylists in for help. She billed my Daughter 600 for poor work and hours she spent which were basically because she did not know what she was doing. The salon she went to a few months before did the job correctly for 195 with tip. She went back to the same salon from before that charged even less to fix Kylees mess. I tried to work this out with the owner and Kylee but it seems they felt justified in basically robbing my Daughter. Kylee would not give her a price until the work was complete. My daughter was in complete shock and paid it because she didn't know what to do. Buyer beware. Chair rental seems to be a thing now but she had no pricing and it seems to be a what they feel like charging scam.

Sidestreet Grille & Pub
I stopped over after attending a victim impact panel, and quickly regretted it.I had a waitress yell at me for throwing up in a trash can, I'm pretty sure they added drinks to my bar tab, and some guy kept mocking me. He would say stuff like "Look out for the Bruce Bondy. He's a top notch Social Juctice Warrior," or "Did you crap your pants?"I wouldn't recommend this establishment. Just get drunk at home.Regards,Bruce Bondy

Dempsey's Public House
I stopped in after a long day of protesting the DAPL online, and found the service to be horrible. My racist server and the racist bartender cut me off after about 7 hours of spending my money there. However, I did leave my underwear tucked behind a toilet.I wouldn't recommend to this dump anybody.Regards,Bruce Bondy

Green Mill Restaurant & Bar
Food is often delivered cold. Wait time is ALWAYS OVER AN HOUR. Delivery drivers aren't given info: phone numbers for security buildings, correct addresses, etc.. They once FORGOT to deliver food to us after we placed an order & to make up for it, they gave us a gift card that had to be used AT their restaurant & was only enough to buy a small meal for ONE of us. Mistakes are made constantly. I can't have food that's too acidic (at risk for bleeding ulcers), so I avoid onions. They finely chopped up onions into salad that wasn't suppose to have onions. I noticed the tiny onion bits all over salad too late & ended up with severe tummy & bowel discomfort. My friend is severely allergic to shellfish & he ordered a burger that made his tongue swell up. I don't know if they just never clean their stations when making food or what! We almost went to the emergency room. Luckily treatments at home worked, but it was very scary! Will NEVER order from here again. This place is dangerous!

Happy Nails Spa
I went today with my bf. We both were Mickey's clients. He did a wonderful job of explaining everything he was doing. So much that it took over 2hrs! We had a babysitter mix up and he graciously took us even though we were late. He was extremely friendly and full of wisdom. Its not fancy place but it is clean, cozy and they absolutely care about there clients. I would take that over fancy and quick any day:) He even throws in some humor. We loved him! My bf has been battling fungus for yrs and they will be working together to cure it without drugs. Mine was extremely painful on my big toe since he addressed an ingrown toenail issue. I expected it to hurt. Even though it was very painful it is much better now and i have absolute faith he did what he had to do to fix it. I was referred by a friend and i will refer everyone... especially anyone who is having trouble with the overall health of their feet :) THANK YOU MICKEY!!!

S J Hair Studio
They really care about you at SJ Hair Studio and treat you like family not just another client. I remember one time they actually called me and told me to not worry about making the appointment because of the weather, really showed they care.
Tips & Advices
Many people fear that their pet will be injured at the groomer, but incidents of serious injury are infrequent. For minor injuries , it is appropriate the groomer pay the vet bill, and can usually be worked out between groomer and owner. For moderate to severe injuries, you can attempt to activate groomer’s liability insurance to cover medical expenses. However, be aware that most groomer contracts stipulate that the business does not assume responsibility.
Staff at groomers know that there is inherent risk when handling animals, and they are familiar with being snapped at or bitten. However, it is not a normal occurrence or something you should ignore. Many people choose to cover medical expenses or pay extra--at minimum, apologize and get the dog into behavior classes. It is a given that  you should sedate or muzzle the animal for all future grooming sessions.
It is always recommended to make an appointment to get your pet groomed. While some groomers, especially in the larger pet stores, can accommodate with short notice, popular neighborhood groomers are often booked out two weeks out or longer on weekends.
If your pet has sensitive skin, let the groomer know when you set the appointment. But be aware, all dogs have sensitive skin by human standards--their skin is much thinner. Therefore, you should be on the lookout for signs of sensitivity, and reduce it through regular grooming with gentle, natural shampoo and conditioner. Oatmeal shampoo is a favorite. Daily brushouts and omega oil supplements are recommended for every day at-home care.
For various reasons including insurance clauses and pet-owner relationship dynamics and behaviors, groomers prefer owners don’t stay with their pets while being groomed.
