Ash Buster
Our 15yr old Harman pellet stove died. Called Chris at Ash Busters. He quoted a time to check it out, & was here at that time. Quickly diagnosed the problem, on a Saturday. Ordered the part Monday AM, was here Thursday PM, & completed the repair quickly. I watched him make the repair, he's very thorough, & does a neat job, installed a circuit board update, complete with wiring. It was a pleasure, to watch a craftsman, do a great job ! I highly recommend Chris, & will surely not hesitate to call him again. Rparky

We were very pleased with Chris' service, attitude and professionalism.Having our pellet stove serviced for the upcoming season was an important preparation as we heat our home primarily with that stove.Chris not only cleaned the stove and exhaust pipe, he diagnosed and repaired a faulty motor.I wholeheartedly recommend The Ash Buster (Chris) for any of your needs. You will never find a better company to service your stove. We have had Chris Davis service our stove for 6 or 7 years now. Always kind, thoughtful, neat and fair and reasonable. When he leaves your home you will be warm and there will be no signs he was even there. I enthusiastically recommend this company to all my family and friends who heat with pellets, wood or gas.

M and M Professional Painters Inc
I have known the owners of M&M for a few years and I must say they are one the most professional, honest and reliable companies I know. They look out for their client first and not themselves. That is how I do business and I appreciate others that do the same. Give them a call. You won't be disappointed!

Tips & Advices
For a long-lasting paint job, a clean wall is crucial. Ask how they plan to clean your walls, if at all, before getting started. A high-quality company will thoroughly prepare a wall so that the paint will lay smoothly and last a long time.
Yes. A well-established company will have more experience and likely more references for you to reach out to than a new company that's just getting off the ground. Be sure to ask for references so you can speak to former customers about their experience working with the painter. When speaking to these people, ask about:
  • Whether they had issues with the crew
  • If the painters were messy or neat
  • How the paint has held up since the project was completed
The quality of the paint will affect how good the walls look when the project is completed. If your contractor says they plan on using a paint you don't like, feel free to request an alternative.
If the contractor makes a point to train new hires on safety techniques as well as quality standards on the job, you're probably in good hands.
Unfortunately, there are plenty of cases where a painter has stolen items from a home or caused damage to the house or injury to the homeowner. Subcontractors may not be as skilled as employees, and the contractor you're hiring may not have much experience working with them, making them more of a risk. Additionally, ask if the painters are employees or subcontractors, and what the screening or hiring process is like.
