YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

2.Queen African Hair Braiding

I have been to Queen's braiding twice, the first time I got the Senegalese twists and the 2nd time I got the micro braids by the same person, the one who usually answers the phone. She did an excellent job both times and they have reasonable prices and the hair is included.

They are professional they dont take a break every 1 hour I have thick hair and they did my micro braids in about 6 hours. They dont talk to the customer much or cater to the customer much all they watches was Soccer in African. The braid pattern is flawless the parts are excellent be sure to tell them if you have thick hair they quoted one price on the phone and when i got there tried to charge 50 more I reminded them that they quoted me a cheaper price and that was all the money I bought with me so they did it for the original price. So if you go you will get out at a decent time but bring your headphones and magazines!
19.Cisse's African Hair Braiding
4412 Chippewa St
WARNING!!!!! DO NOT SUBJECT YOUR BEAUTIFUL NATURAL HAIR TO THIS TORTUre.....I'm serious!!! I cannot begin to explain how or why anyone would put their hair in a position to fall out, because that is precisely what will happen if you allow this salon to braid your hair. 1st I consistently said it's too tight she continued to braid it tighter. It was so tight around my edges of looked awful because my skin was pulling!!! 2nd I took in a picture and even sent the picture prior to my appointment and explained I was after the same shape and style and i wasn't lookinv for exact perfection. I even explained what I didn't WaNt....lastly it's ridiculous to sit on a personal call for 5 hours ( not exaggerating ) speaking another language and not focusing on what I am paying you to do! So RuDE and so Unprofessional!! And last but not least there were at least 3 clients who had been told to come that day and when they arrived no one could do their hair because of various reasons, more or less they just say yes and see who shows up! Never Ever Again and I'm telling you do not do it!! I took my hair down within 1 hour because my scalp hurt so bad and a day later I'm still so sore I had to massage with oil. I have ahs my hair braided a thousand times and this places SUCKS!

Kiera has been my stylist from just about the opening of her business and I'm definitely satisfied. Nice environment, customer orientated, My hair has never been as healthy in all my 30+ years of living. My hair started at shoulder length and now it is pass bra strap. I routinely got my hair done at least every two weeks, if not more. Nundi is also a great Stylist. They specialize in natural hair and extensions and their hands are blessed. Thumbs ups Ladies!!!
27.African Hair Braiders Salon
1157 S Kingshighway Blvd
28.Mafatta African Hair Braiding
7319 W Florissant Ave
I wanted micro braids but when she did them she only went halfway and tied them off...I didn't really know until hours in but that's not what I wanted, I wansnt even asked. I had already paid and was already ready to go. Then they had this toddler, a little boy running around poking sleeping patrons and pulling on her clothes (she had fallen asleep when Mafatta left on an hour and a half run where she returned with food and clothes for some people) and no one stopped him, they just laughed. And by the time the night was over the pace increased and they rushed to finish everyone. They pretty much just talked among themselves in their language and kept stopping to answer the phone. It was not a friendly atmosphere at all
