Affordable Plumbing Sewer
Buyer brware! Affordable Plumbing may be the name of the company but not the case when it come to final bill. When I talked to Stephanie on the phone to schedule appointment, was told that their $89.00 service charge plus cost of materials plus 20% was standard pricing. Was told they would give me total price before they began job! I knew I had a leaking toilet probably due to a wax ring problem. Did not say how much they would charge to pull the toilet and replace wax ring! AFTER THEY HAVE MY TOILET SITTING IN MIDDLE OF FLOOR, they tell me, OH! PRICE JUST GOT HIGHER, YOUR FLANGE IS CRACKED! MORE MONEY!! ONE HOUR OF WORK TO REPLACE FLANGE, WAX RING AND RESET TOILET - $438.00! Was told I would get whole house inspection for leaks but plumbers said they would have to come back at a later date, they had to go to another job! No thanks! Won't use again! Lesson learned!

Excellent service! I have used 91 Plumb Plumbing multiply times, for everything from a clogged drain to a shower remodel. They are professional, punctual and seemingly unlimited in the number of services they offer. I would never call anyone else!

Affordable Plumbing Sewer
Affordable plumbing has done two jobs for me this month. They show up on time and "smell good" like the ad states but really stink! They bid out per job and their effective labor rate is about $275 an hour. My firs job was to replace 4 bib faucets. The bill was over $500 for $30 worth of parts and less than two hours of labor, door to door with a trip back to the shop for parts. Look our for the $85 "service fee" for just showing up. my last job consisted of replacing a PEX valve and installing a braided water line, done in less than one hour total bill $337.

Michael Reinhart
I live in RC in Fairhope. For whatever reason, we continually have issues with all of the only three major telecommunications carriers (which in itself is odd we have no more choices than that) that service Baldwin County- AT&T, Mediacom, & Dish TV!Bottom-line: My wireless problems were so bad that I could not even maintain a reliable connection, AT&T could not fix the problem after going through 5-modems in 3-weeks, I, in desperation, switched carriers. Mediacom does not guarantee their wireless service- which all resulted in the network card of a brand new very expensive laptop being fried! The only option I had left was to have CAT-5 LAN cable run through the house to get all my electronic devices off wireless. I called Michael and his son, they came out the same day surveyed the problem, recommend the cheapest fix and where back within less than 96-hours to fix the problem. Both Michael and his son worked from 1500 in the afternoon until 2200 at night to complete the job. The job was not only professionally and very neatly done, all my devices in every room of the house obtain the same connection speed as a device connected directly to the Modem.Michael and his son were also very courteous, kind, professional, and gave numerous helpful tips.I would very, very highly, without reservation or hesitation recommend Michael and his son to anyone! I do not say that about a whole lot of people or services, anymore!

9-1 Plumb
Doug Mitchell and his associate were on time professional and performed the job to perfection. The price was fair and they left no mess when finished.I recommend 9-1 plumb and will call them again when I have a plumbing issue.

Overhead Door
I called this company and set up dates for service 3 times over a two week period before Jeff finally said they just wouldn't be able to get to me. Don't waste your time with this terrible customer service.

Tips & Advices
Basic screen-door fixes can be pretty cheap, and most can be DIY fixes. Replacing a door closer can cost less than $15. Door hinges and latches are usually less than $10, unless you are getting really fancy. You’ll probably only need a basic screwdriver and possibly some screws or shims. Replacing the mesh can be more difficult, so weigh the value of mesh replacement vs. full door replacement when considering the actual screen replacement.
Screen door installation, for a standard swinging door (not a sliding screen), is relatively inexpensive. Depending on your area, expect to pay $50-$100 for installation costs. The doors themselves are usually inexpensive and can be as low as $40 (beware of the quality). If you are handy around the house, installing a screen door can be a great DIY opportunity.
A screen-door closer, or a pneumatic cylinder, is a device connecting the screen door to the door jamb. It is usually located at the top of the door and is designed to close the screen door automatically after opening. They can be easily adjusted to quicken or slow the door’s closing speed.
To stop a screen door from slamming shut, adjust the door closer, usually located at the top of the door. There is a cylinder inside the door closer that controls how fast or slow the door closes, and it is usually adjustable with a simple screw driver. If adjusting makes no difference, the door closer might be faulty and need replacing – a low-cost DIY project that requires minimal time and tools.
The most common cause of a sagging screen door is loose or worn hinge screws that attach the screen to the door frame. If they are loose, you can tighten them yourself. A loose latch between the door and the door frame is also a common cause of sagging. Again, check the screws and tighten them up if they’re loose.
