"The service by Dan Marc Appliance was good. I am a bit disappointed in the perfomance of my Architect II Pro-Style appliances. We love the stove (though we need to try the self cleaning function later this month - need to see how it does with that, which I've been told can be problematic for some high-end appliances). The dishwasher has been good but it was disturbing that it dropped 5 gallons of rinse water on the floor (only one time so not too dramatic - we have always had KA dishwashers) - hopefully Dan Marc remedied the problem. The fridge has been the biggest disappointment - the ice/frost issue in the freezer is better after the service though still there - and the freezer light still is not 100% functional. All that said however - on balance the appliances have worked pretty well thru the first 6 months of use and look gorgeous in the new kitchen. The stove/hood combination is particularly striking and works very well."

Mariage couture was the best experience that I could have ever imagined. Donna was so kind and easy to talk to. She radiates with love for what she does. She is very intuitive when it comes to what your picturing for your perfect dress. I tried on 6 dresses and they were all beautiful and unique. But the 7th dress was the one and I don't think I could have found it any where else. The quality and the detail of all the gowns were beautifully designed and reasonably priced for any budget. Donna was recommended to me and I would recommend her to every bride who is looking for a quaint, relaxing, and a once in a lifetime experience.

The service technician was very friendly and cared about solving my problem. However, the company policy about not guaranteeing a service timeframe until the night before service is not customer friendly. I live alone, I work during the day and have lots of meetings to attend, and I cannot wait until less than 24 hours before my appointment to know when the technician will come to my house. They should be able to guarantee a timeframe when you make the appointment.

Because of an issue with the delivery of my first choice refrig. I had to choose another one. Unfortunately, that one was not available right away and we had to choose the floor model. We did look it over with the sales help and decided it was fine. when the issue arose with the noise in the door, there was no problem getting it repaired and he was able to make the adjustments quickly. The refrig is just fine now. Great product!

They arrived promptly. He inspected the machine and explained that its back leg was not welded properly, which causes the door not to close well and leak. Apparently, a factory defect. He explained that this defect was not repairable and instructed us to return the machine to the dealer. Within a few days that matter was resolved- we received a replacement machine and it is working beautifully.

When I called for repair, I was given an appointment within two days. Excellent reponse time! They called to confirm appointment and came right on time. Repairman, Sham, was very friendly and courteous and fixed the problem quickly and even gave me some tips to keep the refrigerator working at optimum level. This is the second time I have used Dan Mark and was just as happy the first time.

Service was excellent as always. Wish I did not have to use them so much for newly installed products. Ist. the door of the washer came with big scratch, washer also came with no Y connector for the hot and cold water, and the one sent did not fit because the male and female parts were incorrect. I had to but parts at Home Depot myself. The ignitor blew out, for the lasr service call.

This service was a success because the technician was competent and qualified to do the job and came on site with the replacement part in hand. No rescheduling hassles and waiting for repair with a different technician. Dan Marc is a company that is very professional, customer service oriented and I would definitely use them for appliance repairs in the future.

The repairman was excellent. The suggestion I have is to not have the stove handles heat up when the oven is on. There must be a way that the stove handles will not get hot to the touch when the oven is on. My friend had bought the same stove recently upon my recommendation prior to my problem. I appreciate your interest.

Very satisfied with the service from the 1st call confirming the appointment time to the repairman's call confirming the time he would be here. The repairman was on time, friendly and replained fully the problem with the washer. We decided to purchase another appliance instead of having the washer repaired.
Tips & Advices
Keep the following tips in mind:
  • Do not operate any electrical equipment while sitting or standing in water.
  • Don't overload extension cords or surge protectors.
  • Put caps on your electrical outlets if you have small children.
  • Call an electrician if you notice your sockets or switches are warm to the touch, discolored or if they make noise.
  • Keep electrical cords away from stoves, ovens and other sources of heat.
  • Do not use an appliance that has a frayed cord.
  • Do not staple extension cords into place or cover them with carpets or furniture.
  • When using extension cords, make sure to unwrap them before plugging them in.
  • Don't overuse extension cords. Have an electrician install extra outlets if you need a power source closer to you.
  • Only use light bulbs with the correct wattage for your lamps and light fixtures.
  • Contact a licensed electrician if you frequently blow fuses, since this can be a sign of an electrical wiring problem.
  • Have an electrician look at your fuse box to ensure you have the right size fuses and circuit breakers. The wrong size fuse or breaker can be a fire hazard.
  • If you have fault circuit interrupters installed in your electrical panel, make sure you test them at least once a month by turning them on and off.
It can cost from $40-$100 an hour depending on the job. This does not include additional costs for parts or trip fees. Make sure to ask in advance what they charge for or if they will provide a free quote.
In order to become a full-fledged professional, a person must undergo an apprenticeship with master and journeyman electricians. An apprentice needs 8,000 hours of practical work before graduating to the journeyman level. If an apprentice reaches journeyman status, he or she can complete most electrical work, but cannot design it until completing more testing along with 2,000 more on-the-job hours.
Yes. While all electricians need a license, not all of them do the same types of jobs.
  • Outside: These types of electricians work outdoors on electrical lines that connect to power plants.
  • Inside: Inside experts typically focus on commercial and industrial buildings that require a lot of power.
  • Residential: Residential electricians work with low-voltage systems and wiring to install fuse boxes and light fixtures.
Watch out for contractors that greatly underbid other electricians. If the price seems too good to be true, it probably is. Also, always remember to get the estimate in writing before settling on a company.
