Aldi
Enjoy a selection of gluten free and healthy products right on Lee Hwy, Fairfax city. The store is clean and I bought their products especially primavera and tortilla chili at the lowest prices available than any other big brand. The only problem I found with this place was of hidden prices which they won’t tell before. It takes about a quarter to get a shopping cart which they will return after you return the cart. Then there are extra prices for shopping bags. And these prices are set according to the size of the bags. These are not large amounts but it’s good to tell these prices before not after shopping.

Russian Gourmet
The best and perhaps the only place on Main St. of city Fairfax where you can buy Russian food. I went there to buy a cake. They have fine and delicious selection of cakes and chocolates exquisitely decorated. Some items were old. I was pleased to see a well-organized place. It was very difficult for me to communicate because most of the staff members don’t speak English. So I am giving them one star less. I hope in future they train their staff to communicate in customer's native language.

The Old Firestation 3
One of the most popular restaurants at University Dr of city Fairfax dealing with Greek and Italian menus. I ordered Greek combo and Gyro. When my food arrived the first thing I saw on my plate was beautiful food representation. Taste was also good. Interior was impressive. A good a Mediterranean touch. But they need to improve the bar skills. Not a very large selection of vines and the cocktail was poorly mixed the last time I visited here.

P J Skidoos Restaurant
A beautiful brick tiled building on Fairfax city Blvd providing delicious American cuisines and night time bar enjoyments like no other. I enjoyed their Zucchini sticks for $7.95 only. You can enjoy excellent food and customer service under their gorgeously covered patio. But I wouldn’t try them on Sunday. The service is usually slow and the waiters seem very tired. Probably not wanting to work on a holiday.

French Quarter Brasserie
French Quarter Brasseries, a newly opened authentic French restaurant and one of my favorite places to dine located just under the City of Fairfax famous Green Turtle Restaurant located across the City central park. My last visit was not what I expected. I ordered a vine and had to wait about 20 minutes to get it. It wasn’t very crowded that day also. The serving speed could have been much better.

Artie's
An attractive restaurant offering diverse range of seafood, diner brunch and wines in city of Fairfax. Great quality and fresh ingredients, excellent customer service and clean facility. I ate their grilled filet with mashed potatoes for lunch and will definitely checkout the diner menu soon. But I would recommend adding a little more condiments because it was a bit tasteless for me.

Trader Joe's
A well-maintained store on Main St. of Fairfax city is a great grocery shopping facility. A huge selection of delicious wines and top quality cheese recipes plus probably the cheapest prices in the market creates a fulfilling and valuable shopping experience here. I liked their pork chops and pan sauce and they were happy to tell me the recipe, most chefs don't usually do that.

Giant Food
Would like to see store hours listed on the YelloPages.Love your fresh Deli Salsa, but would like to see better fresh baked goods, like fresh baked bagels, sub rolls, French/Italian breads. It would be nice if you catered to both the need of community's and the students at GMU. As it is now more focus is placed on the students who are not in town year around.

Alrafedain Market
A decent place on Old Pickett Rd in Fairfax city featuring good quality and fresh groceries and halal meat. The shop contain a diverse range of non-alcoholic beverages, ketchups, sauces and condiments to make appetizing dishes. I was overjoyed to see whole rack of Turkish Delights and when I checked the price, they were merely at $3.99.

Just a moment...
