I had my hair cut and colored by James M. It turned out out fabulous and the best part was the wonderful scalp massage that he gives with every hair appointment---such HEAVEN!

Creative Nail Spa
This is the place to go for the best Pedicure in town! With the combine experience between Kristy and her fellow works of 40 years, clientele received royal treatment. I highly suggest the "Works Pedicure" if you can, the standard Pedi hands down will be better than any you've had but the Creative Nail Spa give you just a little more and is the best stress relief after a long hard day or week. We all need to take care of ourselves and deserve a little extra love now and then. They are appointment and Walk In only, that makes it nice. I'm sure all of you have been a walk in and the lady looks at you and says "15 minutes, pick a color" then almost an hour later if lucky they are with you. You don't experience this at Creative Nail Spa. In terms of taking on Walk In, they are honest and upfront with their clientele on the waiting time. If they tell you it takes 15 minutes, then it will be in 15 minutes. At Creative they have the upmost professional attitude when taking care of their clients. I no longer patron a saloon that allows Nail Techs to listen to their Ipod or Txt while they are working on me. At Creative I have never experience that type of rude service. For the BEST PART! Warm lotion massage! YAY! Their very gentle with the whole massage I WAS IN SPA HEAVEN! After that they do put a hot towel over your legs and arms WOW, leave it on there for a few minutes then they wipe it off. My nails we're pretty my BF and I were satisfied customers and the end of the day. Service wonderful they take their time, they don't rush. They do give you complimentary tea/water, they do have candy also. I say DO IT! you can't go wrong and yes I will be going here more often! OH YES! I say make sure to make an appointment, they do get really busy

Creative Nail Spa
My name is Kristy and I own Creative Nail Spa. I appreciate everyone's comments and ratings, however YP does not have a place for us to comment about the ratings. So I am going to explain the two ratings on 12/13 and 5/28. The 12/13 was a hard day. We had a technician who had a family emergency and had to leave at 3:30, just around the time school was letting out and it was a Friday before the Winter Dance. We did not cancel anyone and explained to those who were scheduled that we would be happy to still fit them in our other technician's schedule but there may be a little wait. She had to wait 30 min and the few that went ahead of her was because they got services that only certain technicians do. As for the 5/28, the couple walked in and did not have an appointment and we were able to get them in and worked on them for 1 1/2 hrs. That is not rushing. They were both drunk and even asked if we served any liquor here. Her BF tried to even take pictures with our technicians. We have been in business for over 18yrs, locally 15+ and our most importance is our service and our clients. We know all our clients by name and we try to learn all our new clients. We have a sign in sheet to let us know everyone's name and our appointment book. For everyone who reads reviews, I can only tell you to come in and find out for yourself. We are the friendliest and very family oriented nail salon you will find here.

Waleed's International Hair Design & Therapeutic Spa
The massage therapists at Waleed's are extremely professional and very skilled at what they do. There are many different massages to choose from (Swedish, Deep-Tissue, CranioSacral, Hot-Stone Therapy, Sports Massage, Couples, and even Chair Massage- I've had them all!) depending on my needs that day. The spa upstairs is decorated beautifully, and my best friend even had her bridal shower there (I was her Maid-of-Honor). There is even a kitchen to prepare and keep food cold. We all got massages, manicures, and pedicures at Waleed's before her big day! I can't say enough good things about getting a massage at Waleed's- relaxation or therapeutic. Their prices are very competitive, and you will get a full hour if you pay for a one hour massage... No cutting it short (50-55 minutes) like the other places in town! Every chance I get, I go to Waleed's for all my massage and beauty care needs. I know you'll really love it, too! Next thing I have scheduled is a couples massage for me and my now-married best friend, in the same room. Can't wait until tomorrow ;)

Bebe Nails & Spa
I have been to this salon several times now. At first I was quite satisfied. Then the last two visits did me in. An older man (who is the owner, I think and not very friendly) did me time before last and didn't even ask me what type of pedicure I wanted. And the last time I was serviced by a "child" whom I had seen in the salon every time I've been there. I guess she is now "trained", however, this was the SLOPPIEST pedicure I've ever had. I could do my own and not have the polish slopped everywhere. Plus, when I told her what polish I wanted she tried to talk me into ANYTHING BUT what I wanted. If I do return, I will NOT let the young girl do me. She was RUDE, ROUGH, and SLOPPY - nor will I let the old man do me.

Bebe Nails & Spa
I have gone to this salon twice. The first time, my nail tech was Sheila, and she was very good, no complaints at all with her. I went there again yesterday. Sheila was busy with another client, so they gave me a male tech, whose name I wasn't told. He did some minor repair to my nails, then he told me it was $3 to cut them back. I knew that was crap, because no one has ever charged me for a trim with a fill-in. I guess he thought that I wouldn't tip. When I went to choose a polish, he rushed me, and when I didn't care for the polish that I was rushed to choose, he shrugged. Other techs have allowed me to reselect. Really didn't care for how he treated me.

Blue Duck Hair Salon LLC
I went to get a cut and color at a different salon in Evansville and had a bad experience with unfriendly staff so I left went down the road and found Blue Duck. I had heard about it from my friends before but had forgot about going there. Once I walked in I felt comfortable and the staff was super friendly. I've went to Craig, Kristen, and Angelina and they all have done a great job. I've also watched the other stylist while getting my hair done and they all seem knowledgeable and their clients seemed happy and looked great as well. I highly recommend this salon to anyone of any age and any ethnicity or style.

Pretty Nails
I've visited many nail salons in the area and this is by far my favorite. I can't speak for every technician since I haven't personally used each one, but I normally use Lee and she is amazing. Her nail art is beautiful. I've brought in pictures right off Google and she's replicated them perfectly or painted something off the top of her head. Won't go anywhere else anymore. My mom, her friends and I all go together every few weeks.

Blue Duck Hair Salon LLC
I had really long hair and wanted to go really short and after bad experiences at several other salons in Evansville I decided to try Blue Duck. I went to Angelina Lee and she did AMAZING work! Far exceeded my expectations. This is the first Salon I have liked from the get go, and by far the best hairstylist I've ever been to. Her experience definitely shows and I highly recommend her and this salon.

Blue Duck Hair Salon LLC
The Blue DucK Hair Salon is by far the best salon I have been to in Evansville in the last 20 years. All of their stylists are very friendly. My stylist Angelia Lee is the best. She understands and knows alot about colors and cuts and overall hair care products. I would recommend her to everyone that I know. I have always left with confidence knowing that I have a great hair experience.

Green's Barber Shop
Mr. George (Green) and his daughter Kelli were the first barbers I visited when I moved back to Evansville in 2001. I like the fact that they are strictly a barbershop, not a hair salon, which means that they know how to cut men's hair (versus styling) however you want it. Conveniently located near a mall and public library as well as various eateries.

Just a moment...
