If I was rating LCB on just the food, I would probably give it a 4 or a 5. But the service leaves a lot to be desired. Even the "nice" waitresses seem rushed and a bit flustered - I understand that they are always busy and crowded, but the service has gotten so bad that I don't even go there anymore. The last time I was there with my husband and some of his friends from out of town. When we got there, the host was a young man who seemed to have absolutely no idea what he was doing. We stood there and waited and no one said a single word to us for about 5 minutes. Finally I walked up to the host and asked him how long the wait would be. We were told their would be a 15 minute wait - we put our names down on a list and waited right by the host area. 25 minutes later I asked if it would be soon, and was told that they had already seated somone else and crossed off our name on the list. We would need to wait another ten minutes. NO APOLOGY. I understand that mistakes happen, but the fact that there was no apology was just bad service. Since we were already there, and the other members of our group had been excited to try the place out, we waited. When we finally got our seats, it was a good 20 minutes before a waitress came up to our table. The service from then on was perfuctionary at best and just plain rude at times. I do not plan on ever going again.
