The food was excellent. I got the wings and was happy with the overall flavor. The server was really knowledgeable and he was friendly. They have some really cool drink specials and a few I have not seen anywhere else in Eugene. The overall atmosphere was really cool and the view of the river is wonderful. I also like that the place seems formal enough to feel nice but laid back enough that you could eat here in jeans and a t-shirt. Looking at some of the reviews, it seems like some are from their catering business which I can't comment on but as for the restaurant portion I will be back for sure.
This used to be a great catering place, but now they have opened the doors as a restaurant. It is an eclectic Eugene experience. A burger menu to die for. All kinds of games and a pool table to have fun on. Great beer selection too. Great place.
Overall great Thai food... I've been to Thailand a number of times. Really, the only reason they don't get 5 stars from me is because they aren't my #1 in Eugene, but they are definitely #2 and darn tasty to boot.
Best in town, always a great meal.
I love the food and the bar tenders are friendly and all was keep the drinks comings
I haven't yet found a place with the integrity and quality of food for a fast and casual restaurant. The pedigree of the food feels like what you'd get at a real fancy and expensive restaurant, in an everyday environment. For folks who care about what they eat, check out the cow on Willamette.
Avoid for ALL photography or any other business need! He is not trustworthy or professional. He took our money (over $4000) almost THREE YEARS AGO but did not give us the wedding album ($1500 charged value) and over $200 in prints -- both prepaid and promised products. He goes back and forth between telling us he spend the money, and can't refund us, or print the album and pictures, to false promises that he will get right on it, top priority, bottom line, he is a liar and an unprofessional cheat! We hired him for a 2010 summer wedding. He took our money and did not follow through with providing our printed high-quality professional wedding album and he still owes us for over $200 in prints and a 2nd photo session which we will NEVER get any value out of. We have contacted him hundreds of times. He doesn't return calls, or emails. He told us all sorts of excuses for why he hasn't given us the album and won't refund our money. First he says he's too busy.... then tells us that he spent the money on personal expenses due to his family throwing him out (not our problem!), then said he isn't a photographer anymore, yet he still has MULTIPLE active websites, is supposedly taking soccer team pictures, and his voice message says he is still a photographer with studio hours by appointment -- hard to get an appointment if he doesn't call you back! Don't bother calling him though, if you value your money! He closed the Barger 'studio' in 2011 and moved to River Loop but didn't tell us. We tracked him down, camped on his doorstep multiple times and caught him home, so he had to talk to us. He again promised the album and pictures (that was almost a year ago) and here we still sit without our PRE PAID products. We have turned him into his professional associations, who have told him he needs to take care of this. Do not take a chance with your money or risk your precious memories from this unprofessional business. He is a theft and he knows it!
I never knew food at a bar could be so dam good. Try the Slam Duck Burger - Bacon Blue Cheese and Swiss Mmmmmm :)
My daughter had her senior photos done with Julie, and they turned out to be amazing and beautiful! Julie allowed for multiple clothing changes and venues. We even ended up on the train tracks, and Julie wasn't fazed by having to jump off the tracks when trains came by. Julie is easy-going and friendly, and puts her subjects at ease.
Lewis and Clark Catering is a beautiful venue to have a wedding and it seemed like a great deal. However beware when booking your date with Anthony Parshall. After putting our 500 dollar deposit down for the date he told us was available, he emailed my mom on a Saturday only to tell us he made a mistake and double booked us. Not a huge deal, however my mom did not get the email until almost a week later explaining the situation. We were not upset that we would have to change the date, we were upset that he thought email was an appropriate means to tell a client their wedding has been cancelled. I’m just lucky that out of town family hadn’t started buying airplane tickets or I didn’t buy any invitations. When I spoke to him on the phone to set up a time to meet in person to find a new date I explained very politely how this was an inconvenience and that I had been spending a lot of time planning for my wedding. Had he just called to inform us, I could have spent that time finding another date that would work. Anthony assured me that we could work something out and that they provide excellent service to all their clients. Not once during this conversation did he apologize. I woke up the morning of our scheduled appointment to find this email: Hello Lindsey,I hope the day finds you well...I have been thinking a lot about your event and feel really bad about the way things have gone...we made a mistake and unfortunately that has created a bad tone and I don't want that tone to resonate through your special day, you deserve to have a stress free amazing experience, so I think it would be best for both of us if we parted ways with this event...again I apologize for the way things turned out...I wish you nothing but the best and a life filled with love, mirth and merriment. Once again, no phone call. I showed up to the building when we were supposed to have our appointment in order to collect my deposit check and he was nowhere to be found. I left him a voicemail and later that evening I emailed him. I did not hear from him all weekend and he never mentioned returning my deposit check in the email. I called him Monday and he did not answer. Finally my mom was able to get ahold of him and we will be getting that back. Again, Lewis and Clark Catering is a very nice venue, and Anthony seemed like he is a nice person who means well. However, he has only had his business for a year and seems very unorganized. I was excited after reading all the great reviews and then extremely disappointed with the experience I had since now I am having to scramble to find a whole new venue and date. I recommend that if you are looking into Lewis and Clark Catering, make sure that Anthony has your date correct and that if anything goes wrong expect that he will be a coward and try to avoid you.
