Butte To Butte Painting
Jeremy with Butte to Butte Painting was absolutely fantastic to do business with. His professionalism, honesty, and promptness was so refreshing in a contractor. His quote was spot on, and he and his crew went above and beyond to complete the work quickly and on budget without cutting any corners. I asked for a quote to paint an out-building that had not been included in my original quote and they painted the structure w/o charging me anything extra. As a very satisfied customer, I would recommend this company without hesitation. Thank you so much Jeremy for your excellent work. I truly got more than I paid for.

Smart Wireless
This business doesn't even deserve a single star if I could I would give it zero. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. We upgraded from an iPhone 4S to an iPhone 5 a couple days ago. The iPhone 5 does not work. Every time I try to call out it says called failed even on I-5. Incoming calls ring on the callers end but not mine. Again even when I have full bars and 4g. So we tried to take it back because of the 14 day exchange/return period. We were there for over an hour before being told its defective and must be sent in to apple. They were completely rude. So we paid all this money to upgrade and now have to pay to go to Portland to exchange it. Fair? Good customer service? NO not at all. Not to mention I am a self employed contractor and I have now lost a client over this who couldn't reach me for two days. This is affecting my families living and this company didn't care in the least. Do NOT buy from this business!!

Tips & Advices
For a long-lasting paint job, a clean wall is crucial. Ask how they plan to clean your walls, if at all, before getting started. A high-quality company will thoroughly prepare a wall so that the paint will lay smoothly and last a long time.
Yes. A well-established company will have more experience and likely more references for you to reach out to than a new company that's just getting off the ground. Be sure to ask for references so you can speak to former customers about their experience working with the painter. When speaking to these people, ask about:
  • Whether they had issues with the crew
  • If the painters were messy or neat
  • How the paint has held up since the project was completed
The quality of the paint will affect how good the walls look when the project is completed. If your contractor says they plan on using a paint you don't like, feel free to request an alternative.
If the contractor makes a point to train new hires on safety techniques as well as quality standards on the job, you're probably in good hands.
Unfortunately, there are plenty of cases where a painter has stolen items from a home or caused damage to the house or injury to the homeowner. Subcontractors may not be as skilled as employees, and the contractor you're hiring may not have much experience working with them, making them more of a risk. Additionally, ask if the painters are employees or subcontractors, and what the screening or hiring process is like.
