Phoenix Hair Spa
I was looking for a local place to get my hair done in Escondido. I found the Phoenix Hair Spa on the web, read the reviews and decided to try it. I have been going now for a couple of months to Phoebe and she does a great job cutting my hair. My hair is short and very thick so I need extra texturizing and the important thing is that she really listens to what I want and is very conscientious. Phoebe gives the best head massages while shampooing, and it's included in the price of the cut.

Hair Studio
I have been visiting this hair salon for over 2 years. After having moved here 3 years ago, I spent a miserable year looking all over the place for a good stylish /colorist. I found her here! Soheila had been expertly doing hair for 16 years and is EXCELLENT! On top of that, the prices are so much better than at individual salons. They have moved to a larger salon in the second floor of North County Fair, across from Panera Breads.

Massage Envy Spa Escondido
Toby was wonderful about explaining my prenatal massage. She made sure that I was extremely comfortable before we started and during my massage. She made sure that throughout the massage, I was comfortable and that the pressure wasn't too much. Toby concentrated in the areas that I asked her to.

Genie has genuine concern for me and is in tune with the healing properties of knowing where to direct concentration to the ares that needs work. She brings a very calm and comfortable energy to the consultation and practice of massage. In my personal opinion she is an assett to your company.

I have particular problems with Plantar Fasciitis. Liz always takes extra time to work on the tendons in my feet and I really appreciate it. She has even shared with me that she has done some research on the problem. She is awesome!!!

On my previous appointment with this same therapist, the pressure was not quite firm enough. This time, Wendi asked about the pressure early on and I asked for her increase the pressure....which she did. Very enjoyable.

Tips & Advices
At the first appointment with a physical therapist, Expect an overall assessment of your condition, which may include exercises to understand your range of motion, balance, and strength. Based on that information, the therapist can then design a regimen.
Physical therapists can work in a variety of environments. While many choose to work in a physical therapy clinic, others will operate out of hospitals and are also able to make house calls to help patients who need in-home assistance and rehabilitation.
Physical therapists can specialize in sports medicine, women's health, geriatric, neurologic, orthopedic, pediatric, and cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions, among others.
See a physical therapist following a serious muscle or bone injury, especially if pain doesn't go away within a few days, is recurring and dull, or is frequent and sharp. Book an appointment if medication is not helping or if your doctor recommends it.
The majority of health insurance plans do include physical therapy treatment, but the amount covered and the co-pay for patients varies person-to-person. Medicare and workers’ compensation both cover physical therapy.
