This was my first time going to any CiCi's Pizza and I was not disappointed. Large, bright and clean. I had previously only gone to Pizza Hut for their lunch buffet and never really was satisfied with their pizza, nor selection of pizza, nor with the salad bar. I'd give them 2 stars. I believe both are pretty much the same price, but CiCi's is a buffet all day. The salad bar is way better and a very good selection of items. Maybe they could add some cottage cheese and pudding. The pizza was SPECTACULAR. A huge selection, very pleasing to the eye, and give them a request for certain toppings on a pie and they will make it, asap. I'm not sure if that only applies to their website menu of pizzas or if you can just request anything. I did not request, because the selections offered were PLENTY for me. Great variety, plus a few warm desserts. It is now my 2nd favorite buffet place (Imperial Palace is #1), but CiCi's is my 1st favorite for having a cute cashier/waitress. I highly recommend.
I ordered out. First time. Service was good. Food was poor. Alfredo sauce was under seasoned or not seasoned at all. The Chicken was great tender and moist. The bread sticks had no garlic butter on them and by the time I finished the first one it became crisp and hard, possibly over warmed in the microwave. I have eaten in many times and was very satisfied BUT I was very disappointed with my Alfredo part of my meal. I am thankful for the chicken. I hope the salad lives up to its reputation. I'm sorry I'm just being honest. I doubt I will ever order out again. I will eat in but be leary of the Alfredo sauce. I said I hoped that the salad would live up to its reputation and it did for the most part, check out the picture of some of the lettuce:I guess if it wasn't for the chicken the whole meal would have been a complete waste. I spent $16.00 to have some chicken. Lesson learned. Eat in if you want a good meal.
I ordered lunch from here today as I do quite often and I am usually quite satisfied. Today however, I ordered the soup and salad deal and asked for extra ranch dressing this took about an hour. I then gave the person taking my order the directions to my building and they asked if it was okay for the driver to call when he got there. I said fine. The driver calls and I give him the directions. He doesn't show up. I call him back and he swears he's here. So it gets cleared up he just went to the wrong building. That's totally fine! Mistakes happen. What is not fine is the attitude that I got when he finally got there. He huffed and groaned. Ugh! Oh. They also forgot my Italian bread.
Last week a friend and I experienced a lovely night at Alto Cucina....wonderful staff, excellent service, ahi tuna was the best that I have had in this area.......generous portion and absolutely delicious.....top shelf tuna!! The bartender Kevin was very personable and made a great martini. Erik, our waiter is very experienced and exhibits just the right amount of attention to patrons. Atmosphere is so right...........cannot say enough about this restaurant......a superb dining experience.
Enchiladas were good, servings were generous and the guacamole and refried beans were great. (Nothing worse than pasty, tasteless refried beans.) Not a lot of atmosphere for a Mexican restaurant, but the food more than makes up for that and the entrees are reasonably priced. I'd definitely recommend it, and it's nice to have a decent Mexican place right downtown!
Mi Scuzi is head and shoulders above what it used to be! I absolutely love the food here, this is definitely my favorite place to eat in Erie. We had my sister's rehearsal dinner here recently, and it was so good that I brought my friends in to eat the very next weekend (and almost every weekend since). HIGHLY recommend!
If you're like me and enjoy VERY large portion sizes of great Italian food, you will love Olive Garden. Everything from the garlic breadsticks to the zuppa toscana is the next best thing from homemades! All this for a great price and super service. This Olive Garden is one of the best managed I've seen.
Nice family style italian resteraunt, staff is great, prices are reasonable, and there's a buffett on Fri and Sat that is a really good value. They run out of wedding soup and don't prepare more quickly enough but it's all forgiven in the form of a tub of pepperoni balls.
This Jimmy John's on State St. is rather new & I have ordered from there 3 times. Each time I have called for delivery I have talked to nice employees over the phone. My sandwich arrived in about 10 mins & was delicious! The delivery man is very nice as well!
Its OKAY, but it ain't what it used to be back in the early 90's and late 80's. Ever since Old man Lucchet wasn't around there the quality was lost. Its not the most filling pizza either for the value, and twice my pizza's were burnt.
