I submitted web form for someone to contact me for new commercial insurance. I did not hear anything via email nor my cell phone. As I happened to be driving by I attempted to stop & ask to speak to a rep concerning commercial insurance. The front desk asked my name & I answered. She then asked my company, I informed her that we would be a new client & didn't do business with the agency. She then refused to tell the rep a potential customer was waiting, as "he likes to know". I told the receptionist that it's fine, I'd go somewhere else, she took it as a personal attack, as if I had nothing to do but sit in her lobby all day.Would I received a different level of service if he did or didn't recognize the name? Would my pricing change? My time is valuable as well & I don't want to pass through multiple levels of screening just to get a quote.They've grown too large. Run away with all possible haste & find an agency that is smaller & will actually let you speak to a licensed agent.
