Hillside Family Practice
I have been a patient of Dr. Ryan's (Hillside Family Practice) for over 2 years. I don't have insurance and was told when I made the appointment that all fees were due at the time of the visit. I've used several other doctors in the area and they all do the same thing. Dr. Ryan has always taken up time with me, thoroughly examined me and been very nice. His office staff is the BEST! I would highly recommend him to anyone. His office visits rates are cheaper than some others I've used and he took up more time with me than they did. PLUS, I don't have to wait in the waiting room for and hour or more before being seen.

Hillside Family Practice
This doctor truly cares about his patients and spends a lot of time with each patient as needed. I have never felt likes he's trying to rush me out of his office and he is always trying to find ways to make my visits as cheap as possible. His entire staff is equally as nice to me and always treat me well. Also whenever I call his office I actually get a human not just a voice mailbox to someone that never calls you back!!

Family nurse practitioners are highly educated nurses able to provide medical care individually or with the assistance of another professional. Family nurse practitioners obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then take the National Council Licensure Examination to begin working as a registered nurse. Then, they continue their education and obtain a Master of Science in Nursing. Following that, they become certified in family practice via the American Nurses Credentialing Center of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, allowing them to become certified family nurse practitioners.
Some family doctors provide immunizations while others do not. Typically, doctors who work as part of a large practice are more likely to offer vaccines in-house. Doctors in offices of one to two physicians are more likely to refer patients to a public health department or other immunization provider.
