Jim Rollo - State Farm Insurance Agent
The employees are the best. They ALL take care of you personally. When I call with a question, but my agent is on the phone, they handle it just the same. I had an accident July 2012, and even though I was 100% no fault and had to deal with the other personals agency, my agent was with me every step of the way. Had all of her research done on my damages to make sure I received every penny i was entitled to. I have Homeowners through Jim Rollo's State Farm as well and when we flooded in Sept 2011, even though I didn't have flood insurance, my agent helped me with FEMA. The whole crew is amazing. I adore them and would never switch agencies!!! <3 Thanks a MILLION guys!!

Jim Rollo - State Farm Insurance Agent
My husband and I have been with Jim Rollo Insurance for a few years now and Kris Yelverton is our representative. Kris has always handled our insurance needs with speed and accuracy. He was very courteous and sensitive to our issues during the flooding in 2011. Consistently keeping us updated, Kris was quick to inform us with what was going to happen and what we needed to do on our end to speed up the claim. After extensive research, we highly recommend Jim Rollo's office and Kris Yelverton to get you not only the best rates, but to make what may seem like an impossible issue a little less painful.

If you can get a hold of Kris Yelverton he took care of everything for me from car insurance to my IRA and even set up a bank account and credit card for me. Every time I have questions about anything I can speak with him directly and hes always there to answer all my questions. Very knowledgeable, great advice and if you want to come in the office he will invite you in for a face to face meeting. Saved alot of money glad I started up with them.

Chris Palmer - State Farm Insurance Agent
Chris Palmer truly shows that he cares about his clients. He takes the time to get to know them personally and what their individual needs are. He took the time to show me many different options for life insurance and car insurance that I did not know where available. He is located right on Main St. in Endwell, NY and I have always recommended him to all of my friends and family. He is a nice guy and he is extremely knowledgeable and willing to take the time to work with all his clients and help them make the best decisions they can.

Jim Rollo - State Farm Insurance Agent
We chose Jim Rollo sort of haphazardly when we moved to the area from out of state but have been very pleased. We have been customers since 2005. He's helped us with insurance on our home, our cars, and with our life insurance. He's also a good supporter of our community - he sends out gift certificates to a local restaurant, he spoke at the Homer Brink PTA recently, and he does numerous other things to help the local businesses and schools. I strongly recommend him!

Tips & Advices
Insurance agents will often try to "upsell" on various extra products that may be useful for certain people, but are generally excessive for the average consumer. Stick with basic plans that cover as much as you need without any additional costs. For example, if the annual cost of your auto insurance is 10 percent or more of the total value of your car, drop all but the most essential coverage. This is especially applicable if the car you drive is older and could be replaced with savings. Otherwise, you are paying for insurance that will never actually benefit you in the event of a serious crash.
Yes. Even after you've chosen a plan and started paying into it, consider looking around again when it comes time to renew the policy. Consider using an independent agent when searching for a new insurance policy. While traditional agents can still find a good deal, independent agents can choose from a variety of providers and tailor your coverage to your specific needs. The Internet has also made comparison shopping easy. Potential customers can often get free quotes online very quickly.
Send your insurer a claim form for each beneficiary in the plan, as well as a certified copy of the policyholder's death certificate. With the proper information, life insurance claims are generally straightforward. Problems may arise if the policyholder has died within two years of opening the policy. In this case, an attorney may be needed to settle the claim.
In the case of damage, take pictures of the affected area as soon as any safety or health emergencies are resolved. Take note of what happened and all the relevant circumstances and report to your insurer as soon as possible. If any of your possessions were damaged, use an inventory of your important assets and make note of this in the claim. Once an adjuster has made their own report, review it for accuracy.
If you're involved in an accident, you need to call the police right away and have them document the situation. You can file a claim upon obtaining the police report. It's also a good idea, if possible, to take your own notes to record: what happened before the accident, the date and time, traffic signs in the area and road conditions. Also get the other driver's name, address, license plate number, and insurance information. Even photos taken with a cell phone camera can help the claims process. Once you have this documentation, call your insurance company right away.
