YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

If you love your kids please do not enroll them in this school. first My daughter had a very bad experience in this school, One of the teacher hit my daughter and after that incident my daughter is so scared of going to school. She's even scared when she sees that teacher's vehicle she would cry like crazy. I complained about it but they put the blame on my daughter, they said that she is just making up stories because she can't cope with the lessons, so what they did they put my daughter into the babies class which is not appropriate for her age. I decided to transfer her in to another school and now she is doing good in the new school, she is learning a lot and get to particpate a lot , and I always getting all praises coming from her teachers that she is very active , and that she loves going to school. People in this school are not to be trusted, Beware they might abuse your kids too...
9.Encino Parents Nursery School Inc.

10.Child's World School
6100 Lindley Ave
My son attended Child's World from ages 2-5. His teachers were all great and very loving. They took good care of monitoring his asthma and food allergies. He had lots of playtime and adored his teachers. The only drawback from my perspective was the nightly homework in the 4-5-year-old room, which was fairly demanding, my son absolutely hated and it caused a lot of stress for us. But preschools have different philosophies on this. Despite the negative reviews below, I walked past the infant rooms every day and never saw anything to concern me. The hours are very good, and lots of teachers send their kids here.

Great School!! Great Teachers!! My kids love going to school everyday here!! and they have the best tuition in the Valley!!!
5855 De Soto Ave
My son was in their infant room for a few months and I had to get him out of there. They often wouldn't feed him(5mo. then) for 5-6 hours, changed diapers as seldom as twice a day during a 9 hour stay, ignored my son in his crib, kept putting him back to sleep in the crib instead of interacting with him, had no idea what he did during the day, didn't pay attention to my notes, didn't follow their own rules, were dirty, and etc. How many times did I find my baby staring at the ceiling when the caregivers were just chatting among themselves? Many. This place is absolutely horrible. Go elsewhere. You can do much much better. Don't believe me? Go in there for a visit and see what your instinct says. And trust it.

20.Maria Montessori School
7930 Mason Ave
Since its inception, the focus of our Montessori program has been to support the natural development of each child by nurturing such skills as criticalthinking, creativity and problem-solving. Our goals and objectives were designed to align with the original vision of Dr. Maria Montessori, and I don’t have to tell you that this is a wonderful program for students, fueled by some ofthe finest teachers in the business. With the support of our community, we can and will continue to offer this outstanding curriculum to generations of Maria’s Montessori School students. At the same time, we know that all instructional programs must evolve to meet the needs of their communities, and to remain in compliance with federal and state laws. Maria’s Montessori School is so fortunate to have parents who support the Montessori program, as well as teachers who work incredibly hard to maintain its excellence. Working together, I have no doubt that we can make the modifications necessary to ensure our practices meet the highest standards while aligning with all aspects ofthe law.
21.Los Encinos School
17100 Ventura Blvd
This is a wonderful school! It is a small school with a nurturing environment. The campus is small and quaint. The teachers and staff are great. The parent body is down to earth. We are very happy here. We love this school!
22.Playhouse Childcare Preschool
Our son, now 4 years old, has been attending Playhouse Childcare and Preschool since he was 6 months old. We couldn't be happier with Miss Jeannette and staff. He comes home every day having learned something new, from curriculum to behavior and manners. We now have our 1 year old girl attending as well. Playhouse allows us to feel comfort knowing that the kids are safe, having fun, eating well, and learning new things every day. English and Spanish! I would definitely recommend Playhouse Childcare and Preschool to any and all families.
6326 Lindley Ave
After a bad experience with a home care center and after visiting several licensed day care centers we chose Carousel Kids. My son was 4 months old when he started and was there for a year when we moved out of state. We really loved this place because it's a very happy, nurturing place. It was also important for us to find a place that was clean. As someone mentioned, it's not the newest place, but things are always kept neat and tidy. Drop-in visits and phone calls were always welcomed. Ms. Lynette is a wonderful director who always knows everything that is going on in every age group. Her and the assistant director Ms. Jonah make a great team. Ms. Samanthi the infant teacher was so great and attentive. She worked miracles getting our son to eat when we couldn't. And the rest of the teachersgot to know all of the kids so that when my son went with any of the other kids or teachers at the end of the day he was always comfortable with them. My son got excited before we entered the building and didn't want to leave in the afternoon. That's the best recommendation he could have given us.
24.Grandma's House Child Care
18020 Valley Vista Blvd
If i could give this place zero stars i would. i warn anyone interested in this business for child care do not ever bring your children here! there are three locations for grandma's house child care or grandma's kid care. van nuys, encino, and north hollywood. They sent my daughter home with diaper rash often and dehydrated them by not giving them fluids. they only fed my 11 month old 4 ounces of formula all day in 10 hours! they padlock the gates shut and are nearly impossible to get a hold of for help. i prepaid them for a month of child care and then the childcare worker that was caring for my daughters disappeared without a trace and the business refused to work with me in refunding me my money. i went to drop my children one morning and she was gone. dad had to call in sick to care for the children. dont' bring your precious children here. not only that but when i spoke to the business about the childcare worker disappearing they told me she was crazy and her husband is dangerous.
