TransMaster Transmissions & Auto Care
Wednesday, 7/19, I worked with TransMasters to have my 2014 Chrysler Town & Country towed from the hotel parking lot to TransMasters. My daughter and family had borrowed my vehicle for a vacation - so we were at a disadvantage with my trying to handle details from out of state. The van was evaluated, repaired and a 30 point inspection completed to ensure there were no more surprises for the trip home. Customer care is definitely their strong suit. All my questions were answered, cost estimates provided up front, and the van was ready when promised. I appreciate the extra effort to get this stranded family back to being mobile.

Complete Car Care
Complete Car Care provides not just excellent repair service but personalized service too. The staff there are honest, reliable and always go the extra mile to take care of your automotive needs. It is extremely nice to have an automotive business in the area who is more concerned with customer service than making extra money on scamming a customer out of unneeded extra repairs. I highly recommend Complete Car Care and will continue bringing my vehicles in for all service and maintenance work.

This was my first time using Complete Car Care. It was for a smog inspection. I will definitely be returning. Samantha was extremely nice and sounded like she knew what she was talking about. I also like that the waiting room was geared toward everyone. Yeesh, how many times have I gone somewhere for an oil change or smog check and they had motomags out front and foul coffee. Complete Car Care wasn't like that at all. It was a surprisingly enjoyable experience. Oh, and they did my car too. :)

"Going in with car problems is always something you hate. My 2000 Jetta had coolant leaks and such.I really appreciated the effort and service Andy and his team gave to me. They diagnosed and resolved the problems, when there was a future issue they took care of it that same day. After a month had gone by since my service I got a call today from Andy asking how things were and checking in on the Jetta. I really appreciated their dedication to customer service."

My family has been getting their cars serviced at Complete Car Care for many years. Their customer service is just fantastic. Their Smog checks and regular services are a good deal. I had my toyota truck engine rebuild by them five years ago and it still drives like a charm. I like to give them my business not only because they do a great job but also because its a family business and they treat me like family.

Moonlight Motors
Good shop with honest and den to earth owner and GM. We have been taking our vehicles there since they opened (10+ years?). If there are multiple fixes they will help you prioritize and understand that being cost conscious plays a factor for many. Recently updated the customer outdoor patio. Very welcoming. Also have complimentary wireless if you need to work while you wait. Great shop!

I came to Complete Care when my car broke down on Highway 5, going South. These guys were very professional and took care of my repairs right away. Everything was explained to me and they charged me 25% less than my dealer would. It was a good assurance that I was taken care of since I was on vacation with my family from San Francisco- thank you to all the staff at Complete Car Care.

I've been coming here for several years and have always been pleased with the service I receive. They are honest and fair and I trust their opinion. Today I had an oil change that took less than a 1/2 hour. I was thrilled since they are usually extremely busy on Saturdays. Evan was very helpful and friendly. I will continue to go back for years to come.

Evan was very helpful and honest in his suggestion of services my truck needed. The team worked hard to complete the job by the time I needed the truck and that was much appreciated. I am a repeat customer and the quality of the service is always good and my truck has never had similar problems after something is fixed.

I went into the shop with a 2007 Toyota sienna and my emissions failed because of the air box. Jiffy Lube did not take responsibility for the mistake they had made with my air box. Andy went out of his way to look up the part on EBay and got me a good price saving me almost $800 plus offered to install it for free.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
