The Trapp Door Gastropub
We have been here twice for dinner and drinks. Both times the food has been wonderful and the service is great. We have had the fondue appetizer with beer cheese and a nice fresh bread for dunking. For dinner I had the Jail Island Salmon dinner, which centered a beautiful arrangemenmt on the plate. It is served with pureed veggies and broccoli. My husband had the Cheeseburger the first time and loved it. He had the Pork Belly Sandwich the second time, but didn't care for it. He said it was too fatty. We had Sweet Potato ice cream and Pear Crisp for dessert and both were exceptional. The beer specials are great. You won't find any national brands here. All of the bottled and draft beer is hand crafted. The restaurant is small and comfortable. It reminded us of a ski lodge. They have live acoustic music on Saturday nights.
