Ajay's Karate Inc
Eight years ago, I embarked on a journey to find a decent martial arts school for my son and his brother who at the time was too young to join. After extensive research and looking around, I walked into Ajay's Karate and without a doubt, this was the best decision I made as far as selecting a school. I was amazed to learn that I didn't just find a great school, but the best school. I know there are a great deal of good schools in the area but Grand Master Ajay instills the basic fundamentals and tools and old school dicipline with traditional martial arts training that is just too notch all the way through. While other schools are probably a bit more flashy and focus on developing great moved which is key, GM Ajay does all of that but builds their character. He builds self confidence and only a willing student, a student willing to learn, train hard in and out the dojang and also carry themselves in a good to great manner that sees them get excellent grades at school and have supportive parents that kniw and understand the time and passion invested in their child's martial arts will become great and outstanding at what they learn at Ajay's Karate, truly the finest in Martial Arts since 1981. I speak from great experience and having not one but two of my kids train with GM Ajay since 2007 and watching them become Black Belt Praticioners, Student Helpers, tournament winners, and National Champions, I can say that it is all because of GM Ajay and his teachings which I in turn instill on my kids. The family atmosphere is also a plus and many of us parents that have been there for years have firmed quite a bond and so have our kids. We have watched them stand out in every competitive event that our school has been fortunate enough to attend. I have had many parents from other martial arts studios compliment the focus and discipline and sharpness that my kids and their peers display at the tournaments. It is second to none. Even in times of defeat, I have had people tell me how my sons would steal the show and how brilliant they performed and I attest that to GM Ajay and his teachings. I could write forever but I speak from the heart when I say that if your child or family member or friend is serious About martial arts & Taekwondo to consider this school an option. Other places are goof, big, spacious and look like a great place to train. Then you have a school taught by one of the very best alive today and the very best in the area. Ajay's students have forged a reputation of being a standout student because they are taught by an extraordinary standout Grand Master Instructor! I can never put a price tag on quality!! Besides, when you are trained by the best, the investment is always worth it. I recommend Ajay's Karate to anyone wanting to learn Taekwondo.

Waza Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
What a classy operation Waza has going. Everything is top notch over there. The instructor Derek DiManno is a cut above the rest. The facility is always clean, and the other students are really respectful of eachother. No muscle-heads or egos that you have to worry about (believe me many other gyms have them) The instruction is very clear and understandable and the lay out of the class is very effective to allow you to use the technique that has been taught earlier in the class during the live roll. I have been to many other schools and Waza BJJ is one you have to check out. I almost forgot to mention the kids class is really well run. They are all conducted by the owner Derek DiManno as the primary instructor. He is very patient and clear with the kids to make sure that they understand what he is teaching. Good sized classes also for kids and adults alike.

Moore's Karate of Elk Grove
I have been doing martial arts since I was seven years old, and as I found out that not all martial arts are equal. I was unaware of how defenseless I was until I had to protect myself in the middle of the afternoon. After 10 years of hard work, I can honestly say that it is the most effective self defense art there is! Bar none! Not only do they teach adults, but teens and young children too, how to protect them selves. It is so family oriented, that there are entire families in there learning, it is quite a sight to watch and experience. I welcome anyone to try it out experience the change it can make in your life, it has to mine. Thank you Shun Shifu Vargas

Waza Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
I have been studying at Waza Jiu Jitsu for a little over 2 years now, and I all I can really say is that I'm hooked on Jiu Jitsu! Whether you just want to learn something new or you want to get in better shape this is the place for you. From day one the students here are happy to see you every time you show up and encourage you every step of the way, But the main reason that I am having this much fun learning is because of Owner/Instrutor Derek DiManno. Not only does he have a vast knowledge of BJJ, but he teaches in a way that you can understand and follow... Just trust me and give it a week, I know you get hooked as well!

Just a moment...
