All Around Auto Care Inc
This business is one of the best auto shops you will ever be able to find. I have had many problems that they fixed and I have also had many friends and family who also got all their problems fixed with no issues. This place is a super nice shop as well as a very customer friendly shop with super down to earth nice workers. A problem nowadays is trying to find an auto shop that is honest and trustworthy with you but that doesn't seem to be the case here as I have always got my car back fixed every time I have brought it to this business with no problems. I always have my auto work done here and I will continue to do so without a doubt.

All Around Auto Care Inc
There is nowhere anywhere that I trust more than All Around Auto to do any type of repair work or maintenance on my vehicles. I have been a happy customer for 12 years and would never think twice about having anyone else do any work on my vehicles. I recommend this family owned and operated business to ALL of my family and my friends and they are extremely happy with the service and friendliness of this business. After you go here you will never go anywhere else. I promise. :)

will do everything they can to make repairs at minimum cost. will call and inform you what's wrong and explain it in a manner you understand; not like other places who try to make it overly complicated hoping you just throw your hands up and say "just fix it." they also ask if you want to do the work and not just do things and stick you with a bill far larger than you planned for. they also stand behind their work.

John Ray & Sons Automotive, LLC
I got stranded on I-65 and was towed to John Ray and Sons on Friday of Labor Day weekend. They did an excellent job of diagnosis on Friday night and had it fixed before noon the next day; on a holiday weekend!! Great price and service! Very nice family. Highly recommend especially those running between Louisville and the lakes.

I have had my car(s) repaired there on several occasions Rick (owner) and his son Corey are top notch honest people. I have always been satisfied with their service, they have steered me away from unnecessary repairs recommended by others. Bill

Frankies Auto Center
Frankie's Auto Center is the best mechanic shop around! Great service, great prices, and honesty! Those are things that normally don't go along with mechanic shops but Frankie's is one of a kind! It's the real deal. I won't go anywhere else!

Customer with incorrect information in previous review. We never replaced rear brakes on her Buick, only front. We tried working with her but she was not reasonable.

Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
