Overall great experience and would highly recommend I had bought an engine off these guys for a 06 Toyota Scion and put the engine in the car then determined there was a problem of bad Rings brought it back to them they said it had another problem with the head gasket and would fully warranty it or for a little more they would replace the motor with one with less miles then the one I originally bought so I had them put the other motor in and been happy ever since everything's running great two months later great place to do business and thanks Joe for everything

I have gone to other salvage yards in the area getting parts for my teenage sons car and was never treated great. Thinking, well its a junk yard and I'm a mom, cant expect much more. Someone told me about Global and have used Global a few times and will never go anywhere else. The guys in the office never made me feel like an idiot when i didn't know the correct name of a part. Their prices and customer service are great. Will always use them and recommend them to any one!!

I was ready to go on vacation and on my 05 Honda Accord hybrid I needed a ABS Modulator. Very rare part. hard to find as even the Honda Dealers told me it would take 3 weeks or more to back order this part. But Global Auto, as Joe came to the rescue and found the part in 5 min the same Day ! Woohoo Thanks to Bill Sr too in a very profession company in helping those find parts and save $$$$ at a friction of the cost. Drove to AZ & NM the next day without a problem.

I had a 2005 cts engine replaced here at Global Auto. The job was done quickly, and was exactly as stated. Theylook a little rough on the outside, but the work seemed perfect. The guy "Bill" over there has no people skills, but I got the right job at the right price, and they didn't damage my car. Just make sure you deal with Jay Z.

My transmission went out and I was in a panic. The owner had a tow truck pick up my car, set me up with a loaner, and had it fixed in 1/2 the time expected. The price was reasonable. The car is running great! What else can you ask for!
Tips & Advices
Salvage yards will have different policies regarding warranties, but, in most instances, the parts you find will be covered. Some salvage yards will offer warranties of anywhere from 90 days to six months, and may even offer the option for extended coverage.
After you've successfully found a part or multiple components, take everything up to the clerk. Inform them of what you have and pay. Avoid lying about what you have as a way to pay less. You will potentially be banned if you're found lying. You-pick salvage yards will display the prices for categories of parts. Prices may fluctuate depending on the demand. Harder-to-find items could carry a higher price tag than a brand-new one. If you are salvaging for auto parts, you might see items that are difficult to find and be able to sell them for a profit. Doing so can offset the cost of the price you're paying for the parts you personally need.
It is in your interest to call the salvage yard before arriving to see if they sell smaller components individually, because some yards do not. Some owners choose to not sell small components for financial reasons.  If salvage lots come across a door without the handle, they will have to pay extra to get the handle and attach it to the entire assembly. It is therefore cost-effective for salvage lots to sell entire assemblies.
When rummaging through a car or walking around the lot, stay aware of your surroundings. Remember, you aren't the only visitor looking to salvage parts. Other individuals are also looking for components, and not everyone works as safely as possible. If you find a car you'd like to inspect, make sure working conditions are suitable, and if anything looks suspicious or dangerous, find a safer vehicle to tear apart.
