i worked @ dotline as well for 2 years with my ex girlfriend and we made damn good money, as much as $2,500 each a week after everything was deducted. they did lie but so does every other trucking company. they all say what you want to hear to get you in the door and driving for them. its just the way it is. sad but true. anyways, the thing they lied about when we were there was the tire account. they put no money in it period. its deducted out your pay. they also DO NOT give you the full fsc EVER! they steal some of it for their own pockets. repairs away from their yards? extremely rare but i do understand having your own mechanics fix things cost less and does save the drivers some money. they kept us on the 80 for months with heavy loads until we had finally said get us off here or were going home. the truck was a complete lemon. i mean just a p.o s! it cost us over $30,000 in repairs the 1st year alone and we babied it. all in all... a decent company.
My wife and I have ran for this company for over a year now, and we know we have found our home. They keep us running and when we need home-time its no problem, as long as you give them enough notice they can put another team on our run they are awesome about it.After our truck payments, insurance etc we bring home close to $5,000 a week. We know if we have any questions or problems we call the Oklahoma office and the staff there is friendly and always willing to help us with whatever we need! If you are looking for team runs, have hazmat and doubles they will give you every chance to make money. If you want to make money this is the place.
My wife and I will be with Dot-Line Transportation for 2 years in May. We love the company. We get great miles, excellent pay, and dispatch is always willing to work with us when we need to be home! The ladies in the office go out of their way to help us with any issues we may have.We like the fact that the equipment is new and makes being from home so much easier.
