Went there this past Monday and I have to say that it was not what I expected. Let me start with the staff. Completely new staff. I had been there 4 times before this last visit and didn't see those stylists that were there before. That's a shame because those stylists were the reason I would always return to this place. The girl who cut my hair didn't speak a word in English to me. What if I wouldn't have spoken Spanish? Second, every time I went in for a haircut the stylist would always wash my hair before starting on the haircut. This past visit I needed to remind her to wash my hair before she started. On Tao the haircut. Honestly, I could always tell that the previous stylists knew what they were doing when cutting my hair and that they were being careful and taking their time. This time I felt like the stylist wasn't too proficient when it came time to use the blade or scissors to cut my hair. I felt like she was simply chopping my hair and doing so in a manner that seemed a bit hurried. Truthfully, I feel like I could have gone to any chain of haircut places and received the same haircut and experience at a much lower price. I have an idea of what this business is striving for, but with these changes, in my opinion, they are not succeding. That's why I would not go back to this place nor recommend it to anyone unless they bring back stylists that are as proficient as those that were there before.
Worse customer service ever. Please do not endorse such businesses who treat customers with such disrespect and unprofessional.I visited for my third time and I have to say I was completely shocked by the unprofessional conduct of local business owner who prides herself in customer service. I was assessed a fee for being early. That is right arrived to my appointment at 12:50 PM when my appointment was at 1 PM. I asked the front receptionist if i could cancel since it has been more than 15 minutes of me waiting around 1:16 i was asked if i has a problem with waiting. I responded yes since i had a full day ahead of me I was told i had to pay 50% of my services since i wanted to cancel. I was amazed by such customer service and the attitude of the representative. I later came to find out that it was the owner her self (Laura Miramontes). I did not pay the fee and simply left the place to later find out the charge on my credit card. I was more amazed because my brother who walked in to the business with me got faster service than me who had an appointment. This is not to bash on the business but for people to know the treatment they will receive and for the owner to know that with such behavior you will continue to loose business as they are loosing employees. Just last month i wanted to get a full service on my feet and full body massage and was advice by my hairstylist that it couldn't be possible since the massage therapist and about four stylist had quit the job due to the unprofessional conduct of the owner. It is so sad to see local business suffer due to poor management.
