APC Home Health SVC INC
I am utterly disgusted with the services provided by APC. The staff is by far inept/very non-professional. The Providers that they had sent to me were very abusive, in all aspects. I do NOT recommend APC Home health services to anyone. In fact, beware of APC Home Health Services. They are very manipulating/corrupt!!!

I don't believe these folks understand what customer service is. I've had an ongoing issue for over a month with these folks. To resolve the issue, they refer me to someone else. That person refers me back to my agent. It's been back and forth, spending unnecessary time on the phone, fighting, and ultimately having nothing accomplished. Stay clear from this agent, and Allstate for that matter. They will gladly take your money, but not assist you when you need help.

Always Caring Home Care
I had a few caregivers with them. Two of them stole from me. One stole food and another stole $1200. Always caring is not always caring. They did not get back to me or help me with the problem. They hire whoever even though they back ground check, they hire lousy people. They did not help me. They cannot be trusted.

Farmers Insurance - Elsa Ortega
I am shocked to say the least. This company owes me over $2500 and they refuse to pay me. I cancelled my policy in January of this year and have emailed Elsa Ortega numerous times explaining that they continue to bill me although the company has given me a letter stating that our policy has terminated. I called again this morning and spoke to Juanita and said Elsa was not available (like always) and she refused to take any responsibility and said that they are only a broker and not an insurance company & have no responsibility in another company billing me. However, they broker with them and represent the company! They even get a commission for every payment I make!! Juanita said to stop calling and that she felt "threatened" because I kept calling trying to get a refund and she found my situation really funny, she mocked and raised her voice at me numerous times and I had to remind her that she should act like a professional and watch her tone. This is seriously something out of a television show. I never believed that a company would act so disrespectful and abusive. Needless to say I have reported them to the BBB and I currently have an active complaint. They are a very abusive company and then act like they are victims and refuse to take any responsibility.This is my personal experience please choose wisely and ask a lot of questions if you are going to do business with them. Check them out on the BBB for complaints and you will see the currently have active ones filed.

Farmers Insurance - Gabriella Cobian
This agent does not answer the phone, I believe 3 times at the most that she has when I had called. She does not return calls and once text me, that was her way of replying to me. Very unprofessional! I do not know how she still stays in business. I like Farmers, but I would not recommend this agent.

Rey Estrada Insurance
I been with Rey Estrada for 3 years till I make a claim on November of 2016 it took him three months to give me one part of a the claim on a check after I went to his office like 10 times no joke, because he never answers calls and when they do they always tell you they call you back but they never do, well when I went to deposit the check no problem until the third day the bank took back the money to Rey Estrada because they stop the process of the claim not even that my bank charged me a fee because they took back the money, sincerely this guys are a scam its been another month and they haven't fix my claim, they just say they will fix it but till now I'm still waiting. Please avoid this problem its just a headache with this guys,
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
