Affordable Automotive Service Center LLC
It’s difficult to find a good, reliable and competent auto repair shop in El Paso. And when/if you do, they never seem to stay open for long. Not so with Affordable Auto. Since I found them, and Tracy Heal the owner, I am confident taking my vehicles there and they will be repaired in a timely and correct manner. He and his staff are a definite boon to the West Side automotive industry.

Moroni's BMW Specialists
I took my car Moroni’s shop and they diagnosed my car and was able to get me back on the road in no time. They are honest, have an awesome staff and have great customer service. From now on that is the only place I will take my vehicle to be serviced. Thanks Moroni.

Lenchos mufflers
I have taken my Altima 2004 to Lencho Mufflers on three nonrelated occasions. Lencho's has repaired the exhaust system, placed 4 new tires, replaced front brake pads and performed some engine work to ensure a smooth quiet ride. Each time he insured that the work was completed in a timely fashion and the bill was fairly priced manner. That is why he got a First Class rating and why I returned to his shop to repair or replace the transmission on Sep. 18, 2017. As of today Sep 30.(a Friday again) I have yet to get my car back. Not even a phone call or text informing me that the auto is either ready or why it is no ready. Twice in two weeks after work, I had a co-worker drive me to Lencho's so I could pay and get my car back. Twice I was told by Mr. Lencho it was not quite ready but he would have it ready by the next day (Saturday). He even stated he would call the moment it was READY. He has yet to call today and failed to call on previous occasions. Why such a downturn in service and pricing (btw). Once this situation is resolved I will write the review for this 4th encounter, I hope it comes to satisfactory conclusion. Stay Tuned my fellow vets and active-duty SOLDATS. SOLDIERS.

Lenchos mufflers
I went to Mr. Lencho's shop on three previous occasions and came away quite satisfied. He repaired my exhaust/muffler (hole), replaced wheel bearings, corrected front end motor noise and replaced my front brakes. All repairs were finished in a timely manner and the price never wavered from his estimate. For these reason, I decided to have him repair or replace my tranny. I received reports from friends who travel by his shop that my car has not moved from where I parked it for at least the first week and they just started replacing the tranny on the very day(Friday) he assured me it would be ready. Although the owner says my car will be ready manana (Saturday 30th), I doubt it because he said the same thing LAST FRIDAY. I will await the return of my auto before I give my review and I will stick to the timeline and the facts as they occurred. You be the judge. I hope to write a positive review, soon! Please bear in mind I gave him a First Class rating because it was well deserved and based on my first three visits. Stay Tuned!

All Tech Auto Center
I went into All Tech to get a master cylinder on my Mustang replaced. What should have been an easy repair turned out to be a disaster. In order to get to the transmission master cylinder. The mechanic had to drop the exhaust. In doing so he damaged the wiring leading to the exhaust sensor (and didn't tell me). In addition, the master cylinder part used did not maintain pressure. So while driving toward Dallas, TX (600 miles away), I noticed shifts becoming increasingly difficult (if not impossible). While in Dallas, I dropped the car off at a local transmission shop. They diagnosed the issue to an inexpensive aftermarket master cylinder (which shouldn't have been used in the first place.Short end of the story. DO NOT TRUST this garage. Minor repairs or cheaper quotes will cost you in the long run.Get all the details on repairs and parts. Cheaper is not better.......DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!!

C & D Dent Guys
The job done on my car was fantastic and looks good as new now. No one could tell it had hail damage! Every dent was removed by c&d!!
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
