Mah Grooming Salon
Very disappointed with this company. My dog was left in their facility for 7 hours after I called and ask if he was ready. They said no, my husband and I went by and they were closed. We called the owner and she stated that we would have to wait until tomorrow to get him. My husband said no you need to get someone out here. She stated she was out of town and we would have to wait the next day. She stated "he was ok and the air was on. He placed in a cage he will be fine." We fought until she sent someone down to open. They said they called and no one answered. Well comes to find out the lady wrote our number wrong and somehow it's our faults. Nope not going back and not recommending this place. Mommies Pet Grooming
I will never take my boy back to this horrible place. He had a swollen eye and came back depressed. And the women so unprofessional and tacky.

Doggy Dearest Grooming
Please don't take your beloved pet here. Ever. The first time I took my dog the appt was for 10AM but he hadn't been groomed by closing that night. I have them the benefit of the doubt and took him a second time; he came home with discharge coming out of one ear (it hadn't been there prior) and when I called to inquire they casually informed me that it was infected. They are rude, the place is mismanaged but worse, my dog shook violently on the second trip there. I thought that was normal but he is completely calm for the whole experience with new groomer.

Pet Heroes Dog Grooming
I brought Molly in to be groomed. When I picked her up, she was limping. Star acted like she didn't know what was wrong. I inspected her foot when I got home only to find that Star cut two of her nails and the side of her pad on the right rear foot. She lied to me and denied knowing about it, and they told me that her nails on the back paws didn't need to be trimmed (nails nor hair were trimmed) yet she trimmed nails AND hair on the front paws.... HMMMM. Then, I called the owner and complained. He said that Star told him that she injured herself trying to get out of the kennel... so she lied to him, as well. Dogs don't try to paw with their back feet!!! I took her to the vet for $149 bill. They never refunded the groomer's expense after texting and texting, Raymond, owner, only IGNORED ME even after showing him a copy of my vet bill that clearly stated PAW INJURY. See the photos below. Had to dispute the charge... All this after going there for two (2) years!!!! I sat in the vet's office for nearly 2 hours, and one other lady said she brought her dogs to Pet Heroes but saw how they were being "man handled" (handled roughly) and took her dogs back and would not let them groom them.... smart girl! It has now been three (3) weeks and Molly is limping on the other side. She limped on the right/injured paw side for 1 week, and now has been limping on the other side for over 2 weeks... so now I have to pay more money to take her to a chiropractor.... or another vet.... to figure out what is STILL HURT so that she stops crying and is out of pain. Thanks guys. Jerks!!!!! I thought they hated me, or people, but now I learn they hate dogs, too. Were always rude to me, or short, like I didn't matter. BE WARNED!!!!!
Tips & Advices
Many people fear that their pet will be injured at the groomer, but incidents of serious injury are infrequent. For minor injuries , it is appropriate the groomer pay the vet bill, and can usually be worked out between groomer and owner. For moderate to severe injuries, you can attempt to activate groomer’s liability insurance to cover medical expenses. However, be aware that most groomer contracts stipulate that the business does not assume responsibility.
Staff at groomers know that there is inherent risk when handling animals, and they are familiar with being snapped at or bitten. However, it is not a normal occurrence or something you should ignore. Many people choose to cover medical expenses or pay extra--at minimum, apologize and get the dog into behavior classes. It is a given that  you should sedate or muzzle the animal for all future grooming sessions.
It is always recommended to make an appointment to get your pet groomed. While some groomers, especially in the larger pet stores, can accommodate with short notice, popular neighborhood groomers are often booked out two weeks out or longer on weekends.
If your pet has sensitive skin, let the groomer know when you set the appointment. But be aware, all dogs have sensitive skin by human standards--their skin is much thinner. Therefore, you should be on the lookout for signs of sensitivity, and reduce it through regular grooming with gentle, natural shampoo and conditioner. Oatmeal shampoo is a favorite. Daily brushouts and omega oil supplements are recommended for every day at-home care.
For various reasons including insurance clauses and pet-owner relationship dynamics and behaviors, groomers prefer owners don’t stay with their pets while being groomed.
