I have been going to Dr. Juarez for more than 10 years. My mother is also a patient of Dr. Juarez. Dr. Juarez is more than just a Dr. to me and my mother he is a friend, I have trust and confidence in him. He is my guardian angel! If my mother and I need an appointment, Bertha will work them in right away. Bertha always has kind words and is very professional. When I need a referral, Dr. Juarez and his staff always makes sure the appropriate records are sent to my referral Physician and I doesn’t have to worry about it when I arrive to my appointment. Dr. Juarez calls us by pur first name and if he sees us out in public he always says hello and hugs us! My mother and I love Dr. Juarez and Eastside Medical Care Center!

Herman Peter S. M.D. P.A.
Dr Herman is an excellent doctor who is caring and compassionate. I have seen him many times and have not once been dissatisfied. The staff is friendly and doctor Herman listens to your concerns and any issues, you just need to be respectful and give him time enough to chart your condition and progress. Out of the five Dermatologists in this area, he is only one of two who even accept insurances anymore. The rest expect out of pocket payments, which indicates to me that the others care more about the fees that they want to charge instead of the patient. I would recommend Doctor Peter Herman to anyone who wants great experienced care from him and his wonderful staff.

Las Palmas Medical Center
I had my baby here and I regret it. My room nurse a RN named Sandra who has been working there for twenty plus years, works on the fourth floor was so intrusive and unhelpful. After nine hours in labor I just wanted to rest she wouldn't stop coming in to tell me stories or bother me, my husband, or my family. In the Neonatal intensive care unit there are nurses who dont belong there. I had one roll her eyes at me when I asked her to help me with my babies temperature and walked away.

Dr. Juarez has been our physician for years. He is wonderful. And so is the rest of the staff at Eastside Medical. The receptionist is very professional and efficient. And because everyone there works as a great team, they always get us right in to see the doctor very quickly when our appointment time is scheduled. And they do quality work and diagnosis...I credit Dr. Juarez and the rest of the staff there for helping us stay healthy.

I had several spots on my body that I wanted to get checked. It took me a while to get and appointment but I'm so glad I waited. The staff was great and the Dr. is one of a kind., very funny, and explains every possible scenario. He removed three spots that ended up being cancerous. even after 2 Dr.s said not to worry, they looked fine. He left very little scarring and any questions I had, the office staff or Dr. answered completely.

Frank Agullo MD
Dr. Agullo is a great surgeon who's had so much patience for me and all my questions. He answered every one of my concerns and left me at ease after every visit because of his sincerity and friendliness. After my surgery he even called us back personally when we had a question about the severity of my pain. I will gladly recommend him to my family and friends. I am very appreciative of all that he and his staff have done for me.

Doctor Herman was very clear and concise with my condition. I was very nervous about my condition, but Dr. herman had the ability to calm me down and made me feel comfortable about the procedure to correct the problem. Dr. Herman came highly recommended by our company and lived up to his reputation. I look forward to continuing my visits with the Doctor and to recommend him to family and colleagues.

Dr. Mohammed R Alnajjar, MD
Dr. Alnaijar has to have the worst and longest wait for phone response that I have ever encountered. I am on the phone right know trying to verify my appointment. I have now waited 15 minutes and still holding. The first time I called to make an appointment, I had to call back three times,on the third attempt I finally demanded to speak to someone and pleaded not ot be placed on hold again.

El Paso Ear, Nose and Throat Associates, P.A.
Dr. Contreras and his staff deserve recommendation! They're all so friendly and caring here at ENT. My two boys had to have surgery for allergies, and it went very smoothly with Dr. Contreras. We completely trusted him. And Henry, the nurse who helped with recovery, was also very supportive and kind. If you're looking for this kind of medical attention, El Paso ENT is definitely the best.

We only waited about 10 minutes for the staff to see us last time we went to Eastside Medical Care. We have been going there for over 5 years, and are very happy with Dr. Juarez. And Maria, one of the nurses, has an awesome bedside manner, very kind. I always have an excellent experience going there, no complaints. I congratulate them on a job well-done, every time!
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
