SP & LC Company
I continue to have problems with this company owner completing promised work. However, in all fairness, extra non-requested work was done (painting trim on house), not sure why this was done, however, some promised work still not done; i.e., sealant on recently stamped concrete work and brick work. Some work completed is more than satisfactory, however, newly discovered inferior products were used, such as the new front door, a screen on the back door which popped out the second day it was installed and never repaired in spite of notifying owner of the problem. Both doors, front and back, were not installed properly (were slanted enough to see daylight from inside my house and large enough to allow insects in) again, mentioned to the owner. Still having problems with maintenance in spite of requesting same multiple times, specifically, lighting schedule(s), checking watering system for viability and reviewing watering schedule. New sod installed in 2016 turning brown in areas, floral vines not sufficiently watered and weeds popping up front and back. I truly wanted to give this owner a better review, but too many things were unsatisfactory given repeated requests for attention that were too often ignored. In future endeavors, this owner really needs to listed to his client, especially if the client is an older woman. I do want to give his workers a four and five-star review and I'm still open to giving a better review to the owner in the future, but some things would have to change.

Muniz Concrete & Welding
Muniz Concrete did an excellent job on my 19x50 slab. They showed up on time did the dirt work, set the forms, put the steel down, and were ready when the trucks showed up with the cement. I would recommend them for any of your concrete needs. Their price was good. Whenever I need a concrete job in the future, I will certainly use them again.Tom Z

Muniz Concrete & Welding
We hired Muniz Concrete and Iron Works to do a 10 x20 concrete slap on our back yard, and are extremely pleased with the results. I will definately hire them again, when I decide to do the cement slap on my front yard. They were prompt, and professional, and I would recommend their service to anyone who is looking for any cement work, "Thanks Danny"

Muniz Concrete & Welding
We hired Muniz Concrete to build a stamped-concrete patio in our backyard, and hired them again to make a cement slab around our BBQ area. They did great work both times, and were half the price of most of the other companies. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to do concrete.
Tips & Advices
Resurfacing, where a contractor removes and replaces the top layer of concrete, is a middle ground between multiple patch jobs and a complete replacement.
Homeowners should work with a concrete contractor who is either certified by or a member of one or more trade organizations for high-quality results. These individuals adhere to professional guidelines and are versed in industry and safety standards. Such organizations include: American Concrete Institute (ACI) American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC) and National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA).

Wet concrete can irritate the skin or cause first-, second-, or third-degree chemical burns. Cement dust contains silica, which damages the lungs and can lead to cancer or silicosis. Many concrete mixtures contain cement, so homeowners should be careful if contractors create the concrete on site. Anyone who touches wet concrete or dust should wash their skin with soap and cold water.
Colored concrete is created by blending liquid, granular or powdered iron oxide pigments with natural concrete. These pigments are either mined directly from the earth or manufactured in a chemical plant.
