05/21/2013Herff Jones Sun City Graduation Services
I agree and disagree with"Waiting for Parents to grow up" I'm sure glad you had the great experience you stated with Herff Jones. When graduation packets are not ready until 4 weeks into the graduation date, I think that is unprofessional...gowns are needed to take pic's and invitations are needed to be sent to family members out of town, especially when I paid for the packet 4 months before. But of course the school blames Herff Jones and Herff Jones blames the school, so it turns into the blame game. After many attempts even with the help of the school we could not get anyone specific to give any details until this last moment, so yes, the invitations gown and all gear are Great. But to find a photographer to take the graduation picture for my daughter and have them ready in a week, was so inconvenient and stressful to say the least. By the way-we were sent packets by Herff Jones but it's actually Sun City Graduation (that's where we were sent) so thank you Herff Jone's for making this cat and mouse chase....all I can say is the invite's are out and out of town family weren't able to make flights two weeks in advance for the low air rates and....with no professional picture. (This was a frustrating situation, and I was very courteous, because I didn't want to blow off steam in front of my daughter and with all do respect to the lady that delivered the items to the school) only because I know it was not her fault in entirety). So I'll think twice before I order from here again...High School over with College bound and grad gear in another town....
Apartments are brand new but were built with cheap materials, and it shows. I moved into a brand new unit and the new appliances were already breaking. The complex is right on Lee Trevino and you can hear the traffic all night. Our neighbors had issues with vandalism of their property and kids from the low-income complex next-door using OUR pool, jungle gym, and throwing rocks at cars. I saw cops coming to do incident reports on several occasions. However, those are not my biggest complaints. The management/office staff here is literally NON-EXISTENT! I think there is only one lady to begin with, and she couldn't care less about your satisfaction. Forget about trying to reach anyone at the office. Forget about putting in a maintenance request and getting a response -- even when you go so far as to leave a message on their "emergency maintenance" messaging service. They literally avoid you and take WEEKS (not exaggerating) to get back to you, and are very unapologetic. The only time you can get anything done is if you call the LEDIC company until they answer their phone. I am moving out as soon as my lease is up and never looking back!
Whether renting from ARP, or having them manage your property, I highly recommend them to anyone. I have had a great experience with both. I rented a house from ARP for about 10 months and they took great care of me as a tenant. Whenever there was a problem, they fixed it from within 24-48 hours. They were always quick and responsive. Later, I had them manage a property for me. (I wanted them to take good care of my renters, like they did me.) They always kept me up to date and well informed. Aldo Mena always got right back to me whenever I needed him. They kept my property in good condition. And always had it rented, put a second renter in when first one vacated right away.
ARP has been a great asset to my wife and I. We previously tried to rent out one of our homes without a property manager, and it was a disaster-damaged carpets, lawn, sprinkler system, late rent repeatedly, etc. ARP came to our rescue and found good renters, and has re-contracted good renters ever since. We have a second home rented by ARP, and we always find that Belinda and her associates are top notch-pros in both marketing properties, finding and keeping good renters, and maintaining our rental properties. They are always prompt and find time to answer any questions we have.
