Eastwood Animal Clinic
Great Experience! I used to not take my pets to the vet because my german shepard Barney is a handful. The city of El Paso recently gave me a citation for not having my dog micro chipped. I called around and Eastwood animal clinic made it really easy. They did a house call and took care of it for me. Just today I picked up Barney from his surgery, I was nervous. But when I picked him up it was hassell free the staff was quick and attentive to my needs, and the new surgical laser they used really made a difference on his incision. I will be back and all my animals will have the proper care from know on. Thanks Eastwood Animal Clinic for the customer service, pet care, and pet health education.Sincerely,Barney and B. Living

Eastwood Animal Clinic
Doctor Robinson is splendid; I took Fifi to get her ears cleaned and to have a bath. This was my first time at Eastwood Animal Clinic and I will be back. The staff was quick to help, and they really know what a pooch needs to stay healthy. As far as price it is very low cost and fair, I hated going to clinics before because of the cost and how dirty the animal hospitals got. However, I promise you will love Eastwood animal clinic. The basics are great doctors, great techs, great receptionists, and quality pet care.

Crossroads Animal Hospital
All the vets are wonderful, although I use ask for one of the female veterinarians when making an appointment. Always treated with respect by all front desk personnel. Emergencies are worked in. I have been going to this facility for years. When I had to put one of my animals down due to age and illness, all the staff were wonderful in their handling and treatment of my pet family member and myself. My only complaint would be I would like separate waiting areas for cats and dogs...but that is my preference.

Take your pets here! The Doctors really do have the patients in mind. The staff is professional and experienced, I took my 2 year old Jack Russell to have laser therapy and he has improved tremendously! Doctor Robinson, Doctor Gibson, and Doctor Dashley really know what they are doing and Jacks (my dog) and I want to personally thank all of you at Eastwood Animal, you are the only animal hospital for me.-John Ashford

The Spay Neuter Clinics of Texas
Their prices are just wonderful, truly affordable. Not only have I had dogs and cats spayed and neutered there, but I also regularly take my animals in for their shots, nail trims, and other routine procedures. They also handle my "part-bobcat", because he's wild. They have to put him to sleep to shave his rectal area, because it gets matted. They are very good and gentle with all the animals.

My lovely kitten Salem and I were treated with the best care I could have asked for. It's very hard nowadays to find such excellent customer care and professionalism. The prices are excellent, staff was extremely friendly and helpful and Dr.Snyder was friendly and detail oriented and organized. Will tell all my friends and family to support the Spay and Neuter clinic in El. Paso Tx.

The Spay Neuter Clinics of Texas
When I got my cats fixed at Spay and Neuter Clinic, I could really tell that Dr. Snyder and his staff really cared about the animals, and weren't just trying to extract excessive money from us. Also, their prices are very reasonable for their services. I've been to a lot of vets. So I know how some of them are very greedy, but not El Paso Spay and Neuter. They are great!

Not only the staff, but the doctor himself help me get the puppy and my daughter in the car and waited until I left. He was very informed about my puppy and I would definitely recommend this Clinic to anyone

I know a good vet when I see one, and Spay and Neuter of El Paso is among the very best!. I can't remember her name, but the lady at the front was extremely helpful. In fact the entire staff was really great. They treated my my cats with the best care. If I lived in that part of El Paso, I would definitely have them as my regular veterinarian.
Tips & Advices
Most 24-hour clinics do not allow owners to stay with their pets overnight. However, many do have specific visiting hours or will let owners see their pets at any point during the day. In addition, owners can call most clinics at any time for an update on their pet's well being.
  • Important phone numbers, especially those of the the veterinary clinic, the animal hospital or emergency clinic, and the poison control center
  • A book detailing pet first-aid steps
  • Copy of medical records
  • Nylon leash
  • Muzzle (only use if pet is not vomiting and has no difficulty breathing)
  • Absorbent gauze
  • Nonlatex disposable gloves
  • Scissors
  • Tweezers
  • Nail clippers
  • Digital thermometer
  • Sterile saline solution
  • Hydrogen peroxide (to induce vomiting only at the recommendation of a veterinarian
  • Milk of magnesia (to absorb poison only at the recommendation of a veterinarian)
Find a 24-hour animal hospital that provides emergency services within your area. Keep the facility's contact information in a place that's easy to locate, such as the refrigerator, address book, or smartphone. Most veterinary clinics operate on standard business hours and are not equipped to handle emergencies.
Veterinary clinics operate on a smaller scale than animal hospitals. The latter are more likely open 24 hours and provide emergency services. The former generally operate on typical office hours and only perform wellness exams and minor surgeries. Veterinary clinics also do not generally perform laboratory tests on site.
The specifics vary depending on the type of visit. For a wellness exam, bring:
  • Medical records
  • The type or brand of food the pet eats
  • Medication (including flea, tick, and heartworm medication).
If the animal needs medical treatment, the following may be helpful depending on the situation:
  • Fresh stool sample
  • Vomit sample
  • Video of the pet engaging in abnormal behavior
  • Substance the pet may have ingested
