T-Rex Truck Stuff
This company is absolutely amazing. I have bought several items from them for my truck and I have been absolutely estatic about my purchases. They are a Mom and Pop business which is that much better because they actually put forth more effort and LOVE into their business than other truck part dealers. Their prices are superb and they are very knowledgeable. If they dont have it they will order it! I bought some black diamond plate bed caps for my truck first and had them installed. They did such an astonishing job and they were quick too! I was so impressed that I went back to buy some steps from them and I was going to get these other steps that cost $200 and they said they could find the same style steps but for cheaper! They saved me around $60 total on the steps which I then used to buy a K&N Cold Air intake. I will definiately go back to buy more things for my truck from them in the future because I am just so impressed with how they run their business. A lot of truck part dealers I have dealt with in the past have tried to make me buy things I don't need and I end up spending a lot of extra money. These people cared about me AND they cared about making my truck look good. They have a lot of products for trucks and they even have some customizeable options. I am thinking about getting a truck bed cover from them next!

Emmett Radiator & A/C Service
In this day and age, it is almost impossible to find competent and/or honest mechanics to work on cars. My car a/c was not getting cold and Pep Boys told me that my compressor had to be replaced at a cost of almost $1,200. Since this is an 8 year old car, we were trying to decide if we should just buy a new car. My husband decided that we should get a second opinion and Emmett said it would cost $50 for a diagnostic test. After spending almost 3 hours on the car, they told me that there was nothing wrong with the a/c and that it was probably an electrical problem. They refused to charge me anything for their work and even gave me several referrals to other mechanics who could help me out. Mike and Robert were both very courteous and helpful, going above and beyond to help me out. I would highly recommend them and definitely go back if I have problems with my radiator or a/c again. Thanks, Mike!

Coronado Auto Repair
Great service and trustworthy people. Just moved to Elpaso from Pittsburgh. I had very loud noise on my 06 Ford explorer every time i turn the steering wheel. I had taken it to the dealer back home who told me i needed a rack n pinon which cost about $850 plus tax. When i got to Elpaso i took my car to this shop ,Coronado auto repair, for an oil chance and i asked them to check the noise in the steering wheel. They gave me a ride home and couple of hours later they called me and told me my power steering pump was bad and it'll cost $165 parts & labor to fix it (tax included). I asked them if they checked the rack n pinion and they said that they did and nothing wrong with it. They replaced the pump and the noise is completely gone. i saved my self more than $700 over what the "crooks" back home wanted to charge me.

When i took my car to the dealer to get the 60K schedule maintenance, i was told that i needed to get the timing belt replaced and it was going to cost me close to $800 to fix it. My husband suggested that we should call around and maybe we could get it fixed cheaper. I called three different shops and the lowest quote i got was from Coronado Auto repair which was nearly half what the dealer wanted to charge me ($465 including tax). I dropped my car in the morning and they gave me a ride back home and by 4pm the car was ready exactly like they told me. They are friendly and very professional. i highly recommend them.

I visited TREX shop in El Paso TX and informed Kelly what I wanted which was a, ARE Z-series camper shell. She knew the product and recommended me from the most economical camper shell to the pricey one. I gave my $500 down payment and 10 days later I had my ARE camper shell and the other accessories I purchased installed and ready to go. No I'm not thr family member I'm a real customer from Northeast El Paso (Devils Triangle). Good customer service. Last customer with the negative review grow up. Talking right with people u understand each other better.

Coronado Auto Repair
Good service, very reasonable prices, and they don't pressure you to do things you may not need. The only negative thing (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is because it took them longer to finish the work than what they initially told me. The last time i had major break work done on my truck i had to wait an extra couple of hours before they finished the work even though in all fairness the final price i paid was substantially lower than what a big chain competitor wanted to charge me for the exact same thing. .

Bravo Cadillac
I purchased a 2015 Cadillac Escalade and I must say I am completely impressed with my overall experience! I found the vehicle on-line. I work in Las Cruces, NM and Bravo Cadillac of El Paso delivered the vehicle to me in Las Cruces, brought their Finance advisor with them, had me in and out in less than 30 minutes. For my follow-up care, Bravo delivered a vehicle to me, picked up mine, took care of all issues, and then delivered my Escalade back to me the next day. I will use this dealership exclusively!

Alameda Auto Electric
My car was making this rattling noise every time that I would step on the brakes that several other mechanics could not figure out the culprit for. i brought it here to Alameda Auto Electric and they were not only able to instantly diagnose the problem in my car, but were able to do so in a timely manner for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend bringing your car here.

Great mom and pop place! Helped me with all my trucks. I have bought everything from bed liners and K&N cold air intakes to stereo equipment. They always help me when I bring a new truck in! I live in Ft.Worth now and still go back and see them when I go to El Paso to visit family. Great prices and they actually know what they are doing. p.s. Cant beat shopping local!

Trevino Transmissions
Awesome customer service. These guys know their stuff and they can work on just about any make of car. I changed out a transmission at my house and I just needed software updated to get rid of hard shift. The guy got right on it, he and I went on a little test drive and everything was straight. Took about 10 minutes and we were done
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
