I do not like car shopping; I always approach it with trepidation and dread. So I was not looking forward to shopping for a car today. I had had contact with Mark (service) and Andrew (sales) the previous day because my husband's car had been brought there for service. After speaking with my husband concerning his car and the necessary repair and cost of repair, he decided that it would make more sense to look into trading in the old car and looking for a new or pre-owned car. I mentioned this to Mark and he offered to have someone in sales call me to discuss trade-in value. Andrew called me promptly and helped me with my questions. We then went the next day (Nov. 3, 2012)and met with Andrew to discuss purchasing a car. Of course, we drove away with a new car. Am I satisfied with the deal? Yes,I think that Andrew and Jim both did their best for us. I realize that the dealership is a business and they are not able to give away the product. The service was excellent, everyone in the dealership was friendly, approachable and helpful. Andrew was professional and knowledgable (and so handsome!), Jim (handsome too) was helpful and able to obtain the best financial deal possible for us. To be honest, I had been at Bennett in the past (2 years ago) and had a not so very pleasant experience (salespeople using profanity on the showroom floor, salesperson not very friendly or accomodating, totally uninterested). Today was a huge improvement and I would certainly recommend this dealership and my salesperson to friends and family.
I am one of those forever car owners. The ones who keep up with the maintenance, drive far distances on road trips, and run my car until it dies. Well sad to say, my car died. But it did not die in vain, it had over 213,000 miles on it and gave me a good run. While I am usually a “Honda girl”, this time I wanted something a little bigger and that was a little more me. I needed something to carry my extra baggage; fishing poles, snowboards, and luggage. I needed something that I could drive to my office building and not cringe about, possibly even meet clients in. That was when a very nice sales man, Andy Strijker, helped me make the adjustment from my little Honda civic to a Chevy SUV. Andy pointed out the important features in the car (like how to remote start my car so I don't freeze in the Winter) and answered all my questions promptly. I feel that I made the right decision. I have only had the SUV a week so far, but I can honestly say that I am not going back to a little Honda civic; anytime soon. Thanks Andy!
Andrew and the rest of the team at Bennett have transformed the new car buying experience for us. Being they do not work on commission there is no pressure to buy and they actually seem to care about the customer. I had a productive yet casual conversation on the phone with Andrew, free of the usual pressure-packed, "you have to come down here and we'll talk" speech. Once we arrived, we were greeted in a friendly and professional manner and it continued to stay that way throughout the process. All aspects were explained fully and clearly, and if anything was in doubt, extra time was taken to make sure we were comfortable. There is a distinct difference between Bennett Chevrolet and the multiple dealerships I was dealing with prior. On top of the positive experience, they also offered the best deals that I could find in the NJ/PA area. I will be buying my next car from them for sure!
Today was our second experience with Andy Strljker, he is the most kind, considerate, caring salesperson we have ever met, and is never pushy, and we can't say enough about his professional knowledge. He makes sure the vehicle is what we want and that we are completely satisfied and a happy customer. Andy goes above and beyond to make sure everything is just perfect , he also calls us to make sure that we are making out good with out truck and if we have any questions for him. Andy explains everything clearly so there is no confusion, and makes us feel so comfortable just like family. If we were to buy any more vehicles Andy would def be our salesman again and we highly recommend him to our friends & family.
