First Med Urgent Care
I have had nothing but great experiences with this clinic including my visit last night where I was met at the desk by "Luke" who greeted me with a smile and was very professional and processed my paper work in record time. "Kathy K." was my nurse and this my 2nd or 3rd experience with her. She has always been very personable, genuine and concerned about my symptoms and the care that I would require. "Nani Parsons, PA-C" was my PA and I really liked her! She greets you with a smile that doesn't end and takes the time to listen, question and then address the best way to take care of your health needs. The office is very clean from front to back - and I will continue to recommend this location because it has remained over the three years that I have utilized their services as a positive and consistent experience. Awesome job gang! I appreciate YOU!

Dr. Bruce A Mackey, MD
Dr. Mackey was recommended to me by my PCP who I trusted greatly. He quickly diagnosed my sleep apnea which I've had since at least 1991 when a nurse friend pointed it out to me but that wasn't well known and there weren't home CPAP machines then. I've had CRPS Type II since 1994, trigeminal neuralgia since 2006, and fibromyalgia since 2011. He has been great in helping me with my chronic pain and his PAs are good also.

First Med Urgent Care
After my visit last week I was sent an email and thanked for my business. Beyond just thanking me they genuinely wanted to get my feedback in order to better themselves. After reading the reviews below I am shocked. I had a great experience and will be back in the future as needed. I think that they have listened to the customers and are striving to better themselves.

First Med Urgent Care
Excellent experience with the First Med Team in Edmond. The staff was friendly, the wait time was short, and Dr. Pourtorkan was exceptional. It is hard to find a great doctor out there, but Dr. Pourtorkan was very compassionate and explained everything so well. I will be sure to recommend First Med Urgent Care in Edmond to all of my friends and family members.

My insurance claim was denied due to miscommunication and I was facing a large expense. I called Russell Grafrath and he immediately, without hesitation, contacted the insurance company and resolved the error. He saved me ftom having to pay the entire bill. I highly recommend Russell Grafrath for all your insurance needs.

Steven King DO
Dr. King is excellent, very knowledgeable, and truly interested in what is best for his patients. Dr. King has taken the time to get to know my needs. He even recognized me at a public event and addressed me by name. Now that is a true family doctor... !

I've been using their pellet hormone replacemnt for several years & it has done wonders for my libido. My husband also gets testosterone treatment from IMS & it has helped him too. Treatment is not cheap, but well worth the money.

Michael D John MD/ Andrew R, John MD/Edmond Dermatolgy
I really liked Dr. John and his staff were great too! I was there for a second opinion and after my appointment with Dr. John, I changed my primary dermatologist to him. I trust him and felt more at ease with him.

I have always received great care there for my 7 year old granddaughter. Will keep returning when unable to get an appointment with our family doctor. Love the workers and doctors there.
Tips & Advices
Neurological trauma can occur when a child or adolescent is exposed to hard impact centered around the cranial region. These might occur as direct blows to the head or as the result of a fall or another type of accident (concussive explosions and car crashes).
Neurological evaluations can take up to an hour, introductory processes included, and the doctor may test for any number of nervous system functions and reflexes, including balance, motor function, sight, sensory perception and nerve responses.
While not every pediatric neurologist performs surgery or is trained to, a large share of pediatric neurologists are also licensed as neurosurgeons, which takes added education and training.
Complex motor stereotypy, also known as a primary motor stereotypy, is when children repeatedly perform involuntary movements of no particular purpose, and is often misdiagnosed as obsessive compulsive tics, according to Johns Hopkins. While not necessarily indicative of a greater risk, it can be a concern to parents.
Some of the most common neurological conditions seen in children and adolescents are related to development disorders and metabolic diseases, movement and motor impairment, learning disabilities, and after-effects of concussions and traumatic impact.
