Hand Surgeon Prodigy in RGVValidated by his surgical expertise as an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon, I confidently referred my mother, several family members, friends, and colleagues to him. They unanimously concurred; Dr. Sergio Rodriquez rendered comprehensive explanations of exams and meticulously reviewed pros and cons of surgical procedures. In addition, his prolific and eloquent English and Spanish articulations augment his talent to empower his patients’ knowledge base of their injuries. Consultation information, rendered in the patient’s native language, is a pertinent and vital factor to ensure speedy convalescence. I attest, throughout my 23years as a RN in the Rio Grande Valley, only a handful of Orthopedic surgeons endorse these comprise, essential talents mandated to provide healthcare in communities composed of high percentage of the population are English as a second language speakers.Based on superb results from my several surgeries performed by Dr. Rodriguez, it is my opinion he is a Prodigy and a Virtual “Michael Angelo” Pertaining to the Reconstruction of Upper Extremities. My experience with Dr. Rodriguez and his clinic was overall very pleasant. The Doctor is very professional and informative. Initially, going into my consultation, I was extremely nervous to be examined. My nervousness drastically subsided once I began speaking with the doctor and staff. They maintained their professionalism while speaking to me in a very 'normal' way. Everyone was very kind throughout the entire experience. They answered any question I had without making me feel silly or weird for asking. On the morning of my surgery I was terrified! All the thoughts of what could go wrong began to race through my mind. I felt this way until the doctor came in and began to speak with me. He speaks with such confidence and ease that I felt okay again. I knew I was in good hands and was able to go through with it. During my recovery process, all of the ladies were understanding and patient with me. I really do not have any complaints. I am completely satisfied with all aspects of my procedure! I strongly recommend Dr. Rodriguez to anyone who is considering a cosmetic surgery!

Dr. Rodriguez is amazing. He makes you feel very comfortable during your visit. Never once did I feel rushed during my consultations. I had a tummy tuck with a butt implant procedure done. During the consultation Dr. Rodriguez mentioned to me that after the surgery, I would feel no pain. Well being that this was my second tummy tuck, I figured he was telling me what I wanted to hear. I had my first tummy tuck in 2000, and trust me, it was painful. So really no pain. Yeah sure. At the beginning of this comment I started with a description of Dr. Rodriguez as amazing. That is because I had absolutely no pain what so ever after surgery, and also because I now look great! I cannot thank him enough. His staff is also great, they are all very patient, and take their time to answer any questions or concerns. To sum things up, my experience with Dr. Rodriguez and his staff was absolutely the greatest. I cannot wait until I come back for another procedure. ,) .

I need some information. I was there at the Monte Cristo clinic today and was taken by ambulance to a hospital for evaluation for my depression being suicidal. I was send there by Lorena Medina. I need to know who I can email at the hospital facility. My reason is because I walked out of the hospital without being noticed. The staff on the front desk were busy on their cell phones. My concern is not as much for me but for the safety of other patients that might walk out unnoticed and get hurt. Please forward this email to the right personnel in charge who can reply to this email. I consider this a negligence on their part. I was told several times I couldn't go home for my on safety, but they weren't even aware I was missing until my wife stopped by to pick me up. She found me walking home from Edinburg to McAllen. I am glad I am safe because I was feeling incoherent at the time. Martin Jaques, Jr.

Was VERY impressed with how thorough the doctor was. Extremely professional and had an answer for all questions. Took sufficient time during consult did not make me feel like just another number. Understood what my goals and expectations were, and help me meet them. Can not stress after being operated on by other surgeons and having other consults, how at ease he put me. Would highly recommend him to family and friends, anyone for that matter. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The nurses and everyone in the office made sure to check on me and attend my needs beyond. Overall WONDERFUL experience!

My experience overall was amazing. I was able to return to each appointment without fear. Sabrina, Lu Lu, Trudy, and pricilla were all very nice and welcoming. I cannot remember everyone's name on the staff, but they were all very welcoming. My surgery was not as painful as I thought it was going to be. The most painful part of my experience was the drain tube. I have a new outlook on life and have a huge boost of confidence. Dr. Rodriguez is the best! I highly recommend him to anyone who is thinking about getting cosmetic surgery. I am very satisfied. Thank you Dr. Rodriguez for changing my life.

An osteopathic physician practices a comprehensive form of medicine that takes a holistic approach to a person's health. Instead of specializing in one system or set of organs, an osteopathic specialist focuses on the health of the total body. Many family doctors deliver babies, especially in rural areas without a nearby OB/GYN. However, most family doctors only deliver for low-risk pregnancies and do not perform cesarean sections.
Family nurse practitioners are highly educated nurses able to provide medical care individually or with the assistance of another professional. Family nurse practitioners obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then take the National Council Licensure Examination to begin working as a registered nurse. Then, they continue their education and obtain a Master of Science in Nursing. Following that, they become certified in family practice via the American Nurses Credentialing Center of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, allowing them to become certified family nurse practitioners.
Some family doctors provide immunizations while others do not. Typically, doctors who work as part of a large practice are more likely to offer vaccines in-house. Doctors in offices of one to two physicians are more likely to refer patients to a public health department or other immunization provider.
