De-Clog Plumbing Sewer-N-Drain Service
What a delight, Arnie the plumber is. He showed up within 30 minutes !! This is unheard of in the Poconos. On the weekend to boot. Very reasonable, fair, knowledgeable, low key, got the job done. I highly recommend De-Clog for any plumbing needs.

He came to the house, examined the problem, and promised to come back to fix it after his vacation in a week but never showed up or called. What gives?

They SUCK. You call and call and leave a message with your phone number but they NEVER call you back. Not reliable.... Had to use my lawyer in ALLENTOWN to find me another contractor to fix my pipe problem...

Showed up an hour late. Overcharged in a way that would even make attorneys cringe. I cannot think of a circumstance that I would call this company ever again.

Grinder alarm was going off and I called this company. The gentlemen came out and informed me that my engine was broken and needed "at least $900." He said it might be more once he opened it up and looked inside. In looking at the other reviewers I noticed one review was written by the plumber himself. I got suspicious and said I would call him back to authorize a fix on Monday. I called a second service and without telling them anything, they came out, pulled the item that had jammed the system, and fixed it in 30 minutes charging me only $140.
Tips & Advices
A properly refinished bathtub should definitely not look painted. If your tub looks painted, it probably was. A professional refinishing job should leave your bathtub looking smooth, shiny, and like brand new.
A newly refinished tub should last roughly three to five years, while a re-glazed tub’s life expectancy can be 12-15 years or more. All of these estimates are based on standard usage and regular cleaning and maintenance of the tub.
For minor tub cracks and chips, a basic refinishing is an effective and efficient remedy. But deep chips or cracks that may affect the integrity of the tub need additional care, such as fillings or even replacement. Consult a professional to determine the extent of your tub’s repair needs.
Depending on your tub’s condition, a standard in-house refinishing should take two to five hours. Factoring in time for the tub to dry, expect at least a day, perhaps two, for the entire process to be complete before you can use the tub. Re-glazing will take days or even weeks. If your tub has damage, excessive wear, or has been refinished before, the process can take longer. A contractor can give you more precise estimates.
Re-glazing is a specific method of bathtub refinishing, but it’s an involved process that usually requires the services of a professional glazer.  Re-glazing requires a furnace to melt the glaze onto the tub’s surface, so it cannot be done in-house. The tub must be removed from the house and shipped to a glazer, making it a laborious and expensive process. It is the process used in most original bathtub finishes.
