I almost feel bad for writing this review but after thinking it through i decided to go through with it. I have been receiving services from this braid shop for a few years and observed this shop has no respect for the AMERICAN CULTURE.6/24/17 I called the shop to make sure Katie was in cause she is the only stylist that I like to do my braids. spoke to her she stated she had a client at the time and suggested I call back in 4 hrs.which was fine, I called back she told me that she was almost finish and that I should come to the shop now, so I arrived at the shop 20 minutes later and Katie said have a seat I'll be with you shortly. after being in the shop approximately 1 hr Katie asked if another stylist could start my hair I said NO! that wouldn't be a good idea since I had a bad experience while she was on maternity leave, also I said Katie if you are unable to do my hair that I would just leave cause I didn't want anyone else to do my braids at that time Fatima which is ( The owner) Katie and another stylist started speaking in their native language about the situation then Fatima which is (The owner) asked if I can give someone else a chance my response was NO! Katie still neglected to tell me she had no intentions on braiding my hair. I sat patiently waiting my turn, after waiting almost 2 hrs. Katie decided to tell me she wouldn't be able to braid my hair because she had to leave because the next day was the end of Ramadan and she needed to leave to go get her feet and nails done. no disrespect to her faith but why tell me to come to the shop now if she wasn't gonna be able to do my braids and most importantly have me waste 2 hrs of my time. I'm very disappointed and will not be returning to this establishment .because customer service is not their 1st priority. also the managers/owners are horrible at resolving issues.
