Taylor's Moving Company
Your company moved our son Zach two weeks ago and we must compliment you on the FABULOUS service that we received. Each and every member of your team was so very kind and helpful and went out of their ways to assist us in many ways!! The packing went so quickly (You were SO right that we would not want to drive all the way from Pittsburgh and then help Zach to pack!!) and every thing was well protected. The move was smooth and so efficient. We especially noted that your company has gone out of its way to employ even the youngest people, instilling in them at a tender age the value of working hard and making a difference in the lives of others. We applaud you for this! I am sure that these young men will long remember their experiences and lessons learned working for the Taylor family. Your son Dungee is very professional and kind and made us feel that all was well in control and that we had nothing to worry about! Also special thanks to your other son for picking up all of the used boxes on Sunday. Again, your service was wonderful and your kindness and good advice appreciated!! There is no doubt that you will handling our son's next move in Durham. God bless you and your family and employees!!

Taylor's Moving Company
Moving with Taylors Company was fantastic experience. All the employees are very courteous friendly polite and always willing to help in every way possible. Dungee Jr has excellent managing skills. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for great work ethics, honesty and the best service ever. I moved from a 1 bed room apartment but had a couple of extra storages. They dissembled packed loaded and unpacked my stuff and assembled everything at my new place in just 4 hours. Also the best part is they get the wardrobe boxes and hang all the clothes back on at the new location .Also the coatroom stuff and shoes had been taken care of. The crew had wonderful packing skills, they had wrapped with plastic and then with blanket. All the employees are very very friendly and polite. Owner Dungee is one of the nicest person you can meet. Thank you Taylors for helping my moving experience a wonderful one. I would definitely call them if I move again. Would recommend them to anyone. Starts of Excellency for best service ,attitude of the employees and overall experience

Redi-Care Movers
I called redi-care movers 2 days before my move and they fit me into their schedule for literally the following day. They gave me a great quote, the same as or less than other moving companies. The secretary was great, I called several times and every time she was able to ease any issues I had. . The movers themselves came a bit late, I think this is to be expected with movers, especially when you schedule them the day before.. But other than that they were absolutely wonderful. They were nice and professional. They treated all my things with great care, wrapping it in furniture pads and shrink wrap. They got everything in and out in under 4 hours (2 hours each end). ALL my stuff was returned in the exact condition that they took it in. No broken items, no scratched items, everything was perfect. These movers are the best and I can't say enough good things about them :) They eased all the worries I had about moving and then some. I would definitely use them again.

Truckin Movers
I work for the American Economic Association's (AEA) Committee on the Status of Women in the Economics Profession (CSWEP). We're currently housed at Duke University in Durham, NC and I recently hired Truckin' Movers to ship our materials to the AEA's 2014 Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, PA. I have to get a bunch of materials from newsletters to posters to awards (some are blown glass fine art and very fragile) to the Meeting -- which starts right after New Year's -- a terrible time of year to get anything done! Truckin' Movers was wonderful to work with. Brad Cave was my move consultant and he made sure that our shipment arrived on New Year's Eve and was in perfect condition. He also contacted me to let me know it had arrived and gave me the tracking info I needed to help hotel staff locate my materials. I highly recommend Truckin' Movers. They really will move any size shipment, anywhere in the world . . . and it really will arrive on the date they promise!

Prestige Worldwide Moving
We have just moved to Atlanta, GA from New York, NY using Prestige Worldwide Moving as our moving partner. We hired them because of their price and professionalism. The sales rep at the office was very attentive, responsive and the outside estimator provided the most precise estimate possible. Paper work was done in no time and we did have to pay any upfront amount. However, the moving team arrived on time at the move day. They packed and loaded everything with ease, did not damage the walls and the floors, used plenty of bubble wrap and shrink wrap, padded the furniture properly and double checked everything for the safety. They made the delivery before the allotted time at the other end and made sure nothing was damaged, not even a scratch!! And the final cost was very similar to the estimated amount. So, for all these good reasons I am recommending Prestige.

Taylor's Moving Company
Taylor's Moving was simply an incredible experience from start to finish. We were moving from North Carolina to D.C. and they were able to pick up AND drop off exactly when we wanted, around our schedules. On both sides of the move the movers managed to find the perfect balance between speed and care, working diligently while carefully wrapping and transporting all of our belongings safely. In our new place we had a particularly difficult staircase to get up, and the movers worked tirelessly in the hot summer afternoon to get every last piece of furniture safely and cleanly all the way up into our new home. To top it all off, every single employee - from the owner, Dungee, to his sons to every last mover - is so helpful, so courteous, and so good to work with. Can't recommend Taylor's Moving enough!

Superior Moving Systems Inc
Last April we went to Superior Moving Systems office and get an approximate pricing for my relocation from Maine to Texas. I had so many questions about their process. They willingly answered my all questionnaire on the spot. I must confess they have a brilliant customer service. They fixed a date. Though that was not so convenient for me but I agreed. I warned them not to make any delay. Making me surprised, four movers team arrived with all their supporting tools at least half an hour early. As I was not expecting them so early, but I opened the door and allowed them working. I can remember the weather was very poor but despite having so many impediments, they reached to deliver with hundred percent accurate orders. Their service is truly appreciated.

Superior Moving Systems Inc
This was our best move ever. The entire team was fantastic. From the first phone call to the office to the time the movers left, everyone was unbelievably helpful and great. The movers were fast, helpful, professional and good. Also, the price was very competitive. We moved 6 times in the past 7 years and this was really the best move ever. When we move again -and we will - we will certainly hire Superior moving again. In short, it was a very successful move and the movers and Superior helped us to make it as painless as a move can be. They had extra boxes when we needed some (without charging us) and were generally very helpful and amazing. Like I said, we will hire them again. If you are looking for a great moving company, this is it!!

Superior Moving Systems Inc
I can recognize good and bad movers because I moved a number of times and hired different movers till now. I have been ripped off several times with shady and unprofessional movers. The situation was like that I was afraid of hiring movers. I really had no choice but calling a moving company. This time I was dependant on my cousin who used Superior and had a superb experience. First of all I did some research on this mover. The reviews for them were very positives and promising. I dared to hire them and it was my right decision. They were expert, helpful and tried to get rid of the moving stress. To be true, this was the best moving experiences I have ever had. After working with them, I regained my faith in movers. They are excellent.

Prestige Worldwide Moving
A few weeks ago, we needed to hire a moving company for our move from Fort Lauderdale to Miami. We contact a few movers and got quotes. Then a friend referred us to Prestige Worldwide Moving based on their past experience with them. Upon contacting Prestige, we received a quote that was nearly half the price of the others. They stayed in contact with us on the days leading up to our move to ensure a smooth transition. The movers were great and very helpful and the drop off at our new condo was painless. Overall they did an excellent job of communicating and listening to our needs which is out of the ordinary these days. We would definitely do business with them again and will refer them to anyone we come in contact with.
Tips & Advices
Yes, it’s best to empty drawers, wardrobes and chests before a move. Items always get knocked around a bit, and doors can fly open even if they’ve been taped. In fact, more often than not, movers will want to remove the drawers from a dresser--or disassemble the wardrobe to be more space-efficient.
Yes, it is customary to tip movers, but the amount varies widely. For full-service moves, a 5 percent tip is suggested, although, for extra service, some people go up to 10 percent . For small local movers, you can give each mover $10 for a few-hour job, or $20-$40 for jobs that take longer.
A bill of lading is the legal contract for the move. It provides a detailed receipt, in addition to a contract between the client and the mover. It authorizes the mover to transport the goods from one specific point to another, and it outlines the exact scope of services, with cost breakdown for those services. It also provides an itemized list of the inventory, and carrier liability protection for each declared item. Finally, it specifies the payment arrangement. Make sure to go over your itemized list extremely carefully before finalizing the paperwork--and get a copy of the full document. A good mover will go over everything on the bill of lading with the customer.
There are several items that moving companies will not move – those items will be listed on a document as “non-allowables.” These items typically fall in three categories: perishables, sentimental/personal items, and hazardous material. Perishables are food and plants. Sentimental/personal value is up to the client to decide, but usually includes jewelry, medical and dental records, personal paperwork, valuables and collectibles. Hazardous material is the tricky category, since it includes a lot of everyday items found in the garage, garden or kitchen. For example, cleaning liquids and pesticides both are considered non-allowable by many companies. Some go so far as to disallow nail polish and batteries.
A binding estimate means that the moving company cannot charge more than the stated amount, though they can lower the final bill if the scope of the job was smaller than expected. A non-binding moving estimate is more likely to wind up costing more than expected, since the movers can increase their rates for unforeseen variables like stairs, “long carry” and materials.
