Amazing customer service (CS), but ultimately bad experience. I really wanted to give 5 stars on this, but just can't. I had my car serviced for a drive belt, CR boot, and rear brakes. The CS rep was simply outstanding, she called around and got amazing prices on the parts I needed, even shuttled me to my nearby home while the repairs were made, and even provided me local fishing areas when I mentioned in conversation that I couldn't find any. The service just doesn't measure up though. The drive belt ended up squealing murder when I started the car or turned on the air - I asked them twice to take a look at it and they did, saying I may need a new AC part. I took it back to the dealer and they threw on a factory belt - fixed the problem immediately. I easily could have chased that repair through hundreds of more dollars to fix it if I'd stayed at evolution auto care. The CV boot they had to get from the factory and did so at an amazing price, but didn't tighten it enough or something? I took it by two other mechanics to make sure it wasn't right, they both said it was flinging grease everywhere and I needed a new one. I said I'd JUST gotten one a week ago and they both said "well, maybe it wasn't tightened properly, you'll need to replace it though." I contacted EAC and provided them pictures, but the phone number wasn't working anymore. I emailed and called the CS rep directly and she said she'd order a new one, but has never returned a voicemail or email since, so that's another $600-$700 repair I'll have to redo. The brakes were fine. I had the other mechanics double check that and they're well into the green, so that got done right. One repair out of three is just no good. I'd give one star, but like I said, extremely top notch customer service (until they stopped returning calls) and they really went out of their way to try and save me money. But bottom line, if the car isn't fixed, it's just adding to my costs to repair.

I was in a bind the day before the 4th of July. I was on my way from Baltimore to Virginia Beach to see my mom in the hospital. I plugged in an auxiliary charger and it blew the fuses for my radio, trip computer, and all outlets. I was concerned about not being able to charge my phone so I could keep in communication with my father. I got off of 95 because traffic had backed up. I ran across Evolution Auto Care trying to take a shortcut to get onto Route 1 to bypass the traffic. I pulled in an explained my problem. The owner took my car right away and had everything working in 20 minutes. He refused to take any payment for helping me. When I pulled in and explained my need to be able to communicate with my dad, he could have charged me whatever he wanted -I needed the car fixed. He was such a nice guy and obviously had integrity.

Reasonable price and will negotiated with you. Understands your need and helps you as fast as they can. I've been to other tire shops and they take 30 minutes to get my tires done. Auto World did it in a matter of minutes. It took about 15 minutes to finish my tire. I've notice this company is about saving customers their time and money. I'm a busy person so time and money is what I need to be cut down. Great place to go and get new tires and used tires. Also they have a system set up where they found the tires you need in a couple of seconds, instead of looking through the whole store. Great place to go to and will help you around your needs. If you need time and money to cut down and leave the place happy this is the tire shop you should go to. I recommend this place for you if you need help wit tires and car problems.

Great service with a smile! As I was partway through a 4+ hour drive down I-95, I started experiencing car troubles, but luckily I was right at the correct exit to find myself at Evolution Auto Repair. They were a lifesaver, able to get my car in right away, install a new part, and had me back on my way in a matter of hours. And not only were they quick and had reasonable prices, Eric made sure I really understood what was wrong with my car and I felt I was in good hands, which is more than I can say for my experience with other auto shops. After chatting with his wife, I believe this really seems to be a well run family business, who truly care about their customers, and if only I lived locally, I'd be happy to make them my regular auto shop!

Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes.
