Fossum Plumbing and Heating
He did come on time but I asked 3 times to get an itemized bill for the parts that he supplied and he would not give me one. Makes me wonder why.

AutoMedics
2nd bad experience with this place. I’m done. I had my van towed to Auto Medics because it wouldn’t start, they say it’s the battery. That I had a "Wal-Mart" battery in there-which is utter BS. I paid over $100 for my last battery, at AutoZone. I tell them this & I tell them that this is the 3rd battery in this vehicle in 3 years. They blew me off. After paying over $240 with the tow, 3 days later I get stranded, exact same issue.A friend gets his mechanic to come look at it & IN UNDER A MINUTE, he has it started & figures out the problem. My neutral switch (in the shifter) is going out & needs replaced. Car won't start because it's not reading that it’s in park.AutoMedics don’t do their job, they go for the easy fix & don't get to the real problem. Women especially stay away if you need someone you can trust to do it right the first time, these guys are NOT it.

5 Story Construction
All contractors inevitably have challenges, but generally they can be overcome with goodwill and communications with a customer. This guy apparently does not care about his reputation in the community. He signed contracts with my company for over $4000 to fix a workmanship error and refuses to pay for the damages. Better look close before hiring this company.

Lj Hall Construction
Poor communication from Mr. Hall and his subcontractors.Shoddy workmanship.Short hours/no shows/time lines not met, told me but no follow through.Siding is bad,cut wrong, bows out ,cracks, bent, dents, some nailed in place, left rotted boards on eaves. One piece was dangling by roof, after siding job was" done". Was told ,"that happens sometimes". Just like my new plumbing leaking - " that happens sometimes". Lots of nails sticking out.Basement now gets leaks in it.They put in wrong sized tub .Said it would take to long to get right size.Used newspaper to protect tub sides and nothing on bottom.Appropriate tub support not put in.New tiled floor, vanity, toilet , all not level, tiles cut wrong. Was told that I could put a rug on it.New vanity dented & scratched.Kitchen -was no permit to remove walls or ceiling. He lied to the building inspector about this.I requested him for an inspection. He measured counter top, some cabinets and stove area wrong.Plus sub cracked and chipped cabinets.Crack on counter.Nothing put on to protect new counter or cabinets.New sink scratched up.Floor not protected, was covered in sheet rock mud & paint.Mr. Hall found this funny, Existing window covered in mud & paint. My wall & ceiling paint was put on when there was still lumps, scratches and gouges on walls and ceiling. Sub brought his girlfriends 10 year old daughter ( left job to get her ) in my home for hours.Dumpster company he hired wrecked my driveway. No protection put down.Windows not put in like I was told when siding was removed. Still have existing windows in that had storm windows thrown out.Numerous more details.Overall experience horrible for me and my 5 kids.

The building process was great but I really appreciated how they followed up with everything. When they did the 1 year inspection they touched up anything I asked for. They were great.

Billman Construction built me a wonderful custom home. Stayed right on schedule and were very reasonable prices.
Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.

Just a moment...
