David's Bridal
My wedding is in September. I went dress shopping in December and purchased my dress in March. I called back in June for an update and the associate told me that she would send a message to the shipping department for an update and she would give me a call after 48 hours to inform me of what she knew. No call back. It's now July. I call the store for an update and Rebecca answers the phone and tells me that my dress will be delivered on September 13th. I'm literally having a panic attack at this point and she tells me that she's going to send a message to the shipping dept (like they did back in June) for an update. She also tells me that there is no manager in that can help me but she'll be sure to give me a call after the 48 hours once she gets an update. I'm trying to explain to her that this is the first time that I've ever heard that my dress is to be delivered 10 DAYS before my wedding and there has to be a mistake. She's reassuring me that this is the correct delivery date but she will do her best to expedite the shipping. We get off of the phone, I'm having a full "I can't breathe" panic attack at this point and I'm trying to call my fiancé to calm me down. I calm down and call the store back. Becky (not Rebecca) answers the phone and puts me on hold for 20 minutes (I'm not exaggerating either). While I'm still on hold on my cell phone, I call from my desk phone (YES! All of this is happening while I am at work.) and the manager answered after a few rings. I tell her everything that's going on and she tells me that she apologizes for everything and that my dress was delivered that day and I could come pick it up after I got off. (I wrote her name down but I don't have it in front of me while I'm writing this review. But she is the African American Sales Manager from MS) I went in for my undergarment fitting after I got off of work and I didn't feel relief until the manager walked up with my dress in her hand. She was so apologetic on behalf of her staff

Just a moment...
