I took my two kittens to this vet for their first visit. I've had kittens before, so knew what to expect and what needed to be done. Simple shots, and check up. Easy, right?
Well, not for this business, apparently.
The staff at the front were very kind and professional. Once we got into the back, that completely changed.
The assistant (I'm assuming that's who he was) made no effort to even seem like he cared about my animals. Which is fine, because I know that he probably had quite a bit to do. However, he didn't listen when I told him that one of my babies had a cough that I was concerned about.
I mentioned the cough three separate times. He made no effort to check on the kitten.
I had suggested an upper respiratory infection, in hopes of letting the staff know that they might need to check up on it. That didn't work at all. They didn't check anything.
Rather than going through and checking for worms, they skipped that. They also only gave one shot to each kitten, and made a point to tell me to book several separate visits for each upcoming shot and further check ups.
I seen no point in this, considering the fact that I wanted them to simply check the cough and they failed to even do that.
The entire time I was there, the whole visit was rushed. From the time I walked through the door to the time that I left, it all took a maximum of 10 minutes. They were clearly eager for me to leave.
I was being very reasonable and patient. So I was surprised that they were trying to get me to leave so soon.
I made another appointment, but never went because I couldn't stand the service. I chose to go to another vet in hopes of better service.
The vet I chose is currently booked until next week, so I've had to wait. And of course tonight I find out that my kittens have worms. Which could have been prevented if I had received the service that I was looking for.
I was willing to spend the extra money on proper care and handling of my babies.
Clearly that wasn't the case here.

I have two dogs and a cat and I take them all to stoddard animal clinic and I don't have one complaint from any of my visits. they have always been speedy at getting us in. they have fabulous customer service. they call me to remind me of my appointments and even call after the appointment to check up on the animal. I will never take my animals anywhere else.
